Fair to Middlin’
This paint is nice, but performs no better that acrylic paints, which is what I usually use on glass. There is not true way to achieve a true opaque color with glass, so how the paint goes on is a determining factor. I like the way acrylic paints go on better than this paint. This paint is very thin. These come in very small bottles, which is nice, because then it’s more like a sampling set; however, to pour them into a tray is difficult because the paint is so thin, and the bottle is so small it is difficult to put a brush in it.The seal on these took me about four minutes, using a variety of tools - scissors, tweezers, an Exacto knife…I finally just pushed a hole into the center of the seal, messy, and then cut off the seal with the Exacto knife. The plastic cap fits nicely and protects from spillage.Pictures 5 & 6 are the first coat;Picture 7 is the second coat.Picture 8 is the final coat, and after the final coat, I decorate my jars, using recycled containers. It’s a decent price, but only mildly recommended.

Beautiful colors
I am trying my hand at painting glass and I had been using different paints hoping to find one that will make the designs stand out and be easy to use. I was having a difficult time either the paint was too thick and just looked blah or it was hard to use. Then I saw this product and it's made specifically for glass painting so I was impressed at how many different colors you get and the value was awesome I have way more colors to use than trying to buy one bottle at a time which I love a great value! This glass paint is easy to use it goes on smoothly and dries quickly so I can layer if I choose too. One layer gives a beautiful transparency that if I'm doing a faux stained glass look it works beautifully, but I love that I can layer it to give a deeper a little more solid color but not truly opaque which is what I was looking for in glass painting. And the colors are gorgeous there's this teal that I'm just in love with they all have a metallic color look which really makes designs pop...I'm in love

Used To Paint A Tall Cylindrical One-Off Vase That I've Been Holding Onto Forever
I have this old vase from my mom, really nothing special, that I've had for a lot of years, and I've held onto it because there's something about the height and width that I love - I know, silly, right...This glass paint was my chance to do something with it, so I grabbed my vase and this set of paints. I used a stencil and taped it onto the vase, large enough that it actually wrapped around the vase, then just went with it and applied two coats of glass paint. What I ended up with is a lovely and simple vase with three mosaic-type thicker stripes around it. The colors in this set worked extremely well in that they complemented each other so there was a lot of choices for me in how to color in the stencil and the paint had a thick consistency that made for good coverage with that non-opaque look that I was going for. I have a bamboo lid that rests on the top perfectly (leftovers from a tumbler project) and now I have a glass storage container that I'm currently using to store little candies. Again, the colors in the set work well together, the paint is what I consider to be a bit above average for glass paint, and having 18 colors for this price is a good value. If you're looking to start "somewhere" with glass painting, this is a great set to start with.

Great variety of colors, nice transparency
I've been painting wine bottles for about a year now and experimenting with different kinds of paint. I like the stained glass look of glass paints as they are more transparent than acrylic paints. These paints are easy to handle and come in a beautiful array of colors. I did find that the colors spread more evenly if I have a little water on my brush as I paint. Depending on the effect you're going for, you might want to apply a couple of coats, letting it dry inbetween applications. My brushes cleane up well with plain water, but might require some liquid soap if you let them sit a while before cleaning. For a leaded glass look, I like to use raised gold or silver paste straight from the tube, let it set, then paint in some thinned glass paint. I intend to try this on wine glasses as well. but haven't tested to see how well it holds up during cleaning.

Nice Quality Paint
This set contains a pretty good collection of paints and I was able to paint on several surfaces with good results. The paint is decently thick and not runny so you don't need to use a lot to achieve the desired color. The bottles are sturdy and I didn't have any problems with leak or breakage when I inspected the received package. I am currently painting on 8x10 plexi-glass sheets and the colors look amazing and catch the light in a wonderful way.

Sometimes you gotta paint glass
So today I learned the difference between different paint types. Glass Paint is meant for non-porous surfaces so that it can stick to the glass better and not peel off, while remaining translucent.Well, if that's how glass paint is supposed to be, then luckily this paint meets that requirement. The paint goes on smooth, (no chunks!) and LET THERE BE LIGHT. It truly is beautiful paint. I have some glass panels I've been meaning to use for an art project, and finally I have the right paint to use on them.
