The shoes have a great look and are made of quality materials. I definitely recommend this shoe if you need a shoe thats functional, attractive and priced for value.
Review: True approach shoe? No. Great otherwise? Yes! - Not like name brand approach shoes! I have worn approach shoes from Arcteryx and Asolo and they have bullet proof soles and you feel like a mountain goat. XPETI has a softer shank and you can feel every root and big rock, these won't replace my other hiking shoes. But the fit is great, lots of room in the toe box, very comfortable and look awesome. They seem to be well built and have excellent traction even on wet surfaces. While not true approach shoes in my opinion (hence 4 stars), these are great for daily use on well traveled paths and around town. Great shoe for the price.
