A beautiful natural option for DIY candles
I really love using natural products, and whenever I can choose something with simple ingredients and without unnecessary additives, thatโs what I prefer. This beeswax has been a wonderful option for the candles I make at home. I love making my own candles because thereโs something really special about taking a natural ingredient and transforming it with your own hands into something beautiful and useful. Smells weird, doesn't mix well with other ingredients
Bought three pounds of the stuff to make my leather balm. Right out of the vacuum sealed package it smelled chemically weird, not at all like beeswax. I used it anyway, and my leather balm came out mushy, didn't harden up like my previous batches using a different brand. The lemon oil was enough to mask the weird smell, at least. The only change to the recipe was this wax. Going back to my original brand--get what you pay for. Maybe this will make decent candles if mixed with real beeswax, but not for leather or skincare...

Beeswax
These melt and blend so well into products. It doesnโt leave an after waxy feel. I love these and will be using them again.

Glad there was plastic inside the box! Real beeswax???
UPDATE: Is this really beeswax? There is no honey-type fragrance, and the melt is odd. Rather disappointed. Came in with the box busted open. Product appears intact. Beautiful yellow pellets. Appears to be accurate measurement, also.
