Fresh; some teas I leave the tea bag in the entire time I am drinking the brew, but the bag recommends 5 to 7 minutes; it is truly best at the recommended steeping time.

Tab sticks to tea bag
The paper tab is glued to the bag itself. I always carefully remove it, but it has still torn the bag twice. I will likely just throw the bag into the hot water and fish it out with a spoon henceforth.
