Great item for trimming trees. Very durable, lightweight and easy to store. Simple to use and put together. You may not use them all the time but when you need them you will be glad to have them.

Light weight, high visibility, fit my old style wood extensions

I ordered these two additional Jameson pole sections to go along with the other two 6 foot sections I purchased as a cutting kit. I had hoped that the additional 12 feet would really extend my reach. But when we attached the 4th @ 6 foot pole section, the 24 foot long pole bends upon itself quite a bit. Additionally it gets heavy as you add the 4th section, but the factor that makes the additional 4th pole unusable for us was the bending. Three @ 6 foot sections worked fine, but not 4 sections. They are well made, and attach to each other well.

Have used these for a few years now on numerous trimming projects using 3 tool heads (saw, jaw cutter and hook). They provide access to jobs that big-box store pole trimmer products don't reach. They can flex a bit if you are using a heavier tool head so you want to keep them as vertical as possible to reduce the bend. Only wish they were 8 foot lengths. They have paid for themselves numerous times over with the cost savings from not having to hire tree trimmers.
