Ayurvedic Healing: Contemporary Maharishi Ayurveda Medicine and Science

This is a great book that I'm just starting to read. I have followed Ayurveda for about four years and prefer to read books about the most authentic version, Maharishi Ayurveda, which comes directly from the Sanskrit through a translation by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. This is written by two medical doctors, both Maharishi Ayurveda experts, so it has accurate holistic medical information.

This is a fantastic companion book to my Ayurvedic texts for school. Great for beginner and as reference for the practitioner, a great way to educate clients.

Very detailed view of Ayurveda with many comparisons with Western medicine view.I recommend.

This is by no means an easy read, but to an interested reader provides a wealth of knowledge. I was delighted when reading on the scientific evidence of the remedies and practices documented in the book.
