Great brush for home slick backs

I bought this brush to do a slick back hairstyle, but I found that the bristles were too soft to effectively smooth my hair using the brush alone. I have wavy blonde hair, which usually is easy to scrape back using a synthetic back comb brush, but I wanted a natural brush to reduce damage to my hair. While the brush does help tame the frizz and smooth down the top layer of hair, it doesn’t quite have the strength to flatten out any bumps. It’s great for light smoothing, but I still need to use other brushes along side it for the desired style.

I chose this product over others as it had some of the best reviews for such a reasonable price. The bristles are soft and it just glides through my hair. My slick back hair game has majorly improved with the help of this brush

As useful as a shoe shining brush. Bristles too soft and tightly packed to grip hair....thin or thicker. Waste of money.

This is a nice brush and very versatile. It works for my daughter’s fine hair and she doesn’t complain when it pulls on her hair as much as the other brush types do. It’s compact and packs easily

Works very well on slick backs and combing hair appearance is amazing my hair is thick definitely worth to buy.

Right after I took it out of the package I noticed bristles falling out without any pressure being applied. As soon as I tried using it, it wasn’t firm enough to slick back my hair good, and bristles came out like nothing was easier. There was probably 20 bristles that fell out in the first couple minutes of unpacking it. I don’t know if I got a bad one or if they are all bad, but I wouldn’t risk wasting your money on a low quality brush like this one.

I have long fine hair and a scalp that tends to get greasy fast. This brush seems to help distribute the oils a little. It does take a while though, as the bristles tend to glide over the hair rather than go through all the way to the scalp. Feels less satisfying, but I guess these work differently and serve a different purpose than my usual ball-tipped brushes. Good value for money -- it's fine as a starter brush to see if you like this style.
