Overall good vacuum with exceptions.
It's a decent vacuum for the money BUT I agree with other reviewers that this vacuum is very cumbersome to assemble and disassemble. It also it a pain to empty, you have to remove the filter to empty the canister. Kinda useless to even have a hepa filter when ya gotta wear a dust mask. I also found that it clogs within the main body, and one has to run a rod to clear. Battery life is decent but not exceptional. Now for the good. It is powerful, I like it better than the handheld shop vac. It is also better than my M12 Milwaukee cordless for when you are cleaning floors with two extension tubes, more suction. I also like the true on/off switchOverall, it's a decent vacuum and I would recommend although the exceptions noted above. Its decent for floors, especially dust bunnies, cat hair, and light debris. I still prefer the Milwaukee M12 for close up jobs though.

Best portable lightweight vacuum. Battery powered!
I love this vacuum! It’s a DEWALT so a good brand. My biggest recommendation “Don’t buy generic batteries and chargers!!!!” I did and they don’t charge or hold a charge. The DEWALT charger is a little more expensive but worth every penny! It even charges one of my generic batteries (one still won’t hold a charge). DEWALT batteries are the way to go. This vacuum is perfect for carpet, non carpeted floors and for my stairs which was the biggest reason I wanted this.

Unusable
The parts didn't fit together. I couldn't believe that I couldn't put the pieces together. I don't think they ever attempted to assemble their product.

prelim impressions - good suction, mismatched specs
There are a variety of Dewalt-clone vacuums out now (presumably all from the same factory but with different names). I have a Dewalt at home and like it a great deal. The price has jumped drastically in the last few years, so when I needed a vac at work I bought this clone to try out.Initial impressions:The dust-bowl must be near-perfectly aligned to get it to attach (the Dewalt is much easier) but it looks like dremelling a chamfer on a few edges will improve that.Battery does not slide in as easily, but this is tolerable.Suction is better than expected, it will pull fine dust from a 1/2-1" gap, and also pull it from a surface without use of the brush to dislodge it (I was very impressed by this). If you are using specs to compare, be aware that he specs in the product photos do not match the instruction manual.Listing shows 16,000 kPa suction, instructions show 9.4.Motor power: 400 watts, vs 300.Noise: 72 dBA vs 75 (3db is noticeable to the ear)Again, these probably come from the same factory, so there's likely a disconnect between engineering and marketing. This thing performs well, so the difference in specs shouldn't be an issue except to the most exacting individuals.I cannot comment on durability yet, but will revisit this if I remember to do so.If opportunity arises I'll take it home and do a side-by-side and add to this review.
