Excellent Reel
Unbelievable reel for the money. Really appears to be great quality, smooth and long casting. Haven't used it but once, but on a 15 foot rod, it will cast a very very long way.

good bang for the buck, feels sturdy smooth reeling and easy to use very lightweight as well full metal

Poor Quality
after only 6 months of use, the handle fell off as i was catching a fish. Now, the handle won't stay tightened. Poor quality.

Nice For Casting
I've used this reel on my Ugly stick 10 foot rod for the past week in the surf. This reel casts very well, and has increased by distance. Using 2 or 3 ounce weights, one can cfast well beyond the breakers. Hily recommend for this price.

Donโt know how they build such a quality item and sell it for what they do. I retired my Penn 750ss and replaced it with this.
