I actually really liked this fob, i ended up not needing it and was going to return but it went missing. I think it fell behind something somewhere and now its gone forever lol I haven't found multiple times during deep cleaning and organizing which sucks so I didnt get to use it but ive bought this before and so basically, functionality is good, quailty is great, clicker works well and its easy to program if you have the right equipment or home depo can also help you with cutting and programing it.

Very nice product. I went to the hardware store and got the keys duplicated on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Sport. $5 each... then went to dealership to have both Fobs programed. $35 each. Worked so does after marker remote start. Called a different dealership and got a quote of $400 for 2 fobs programed. Not key carving. I won!!. Oh BTW fobs come with batteries. TY.

I purchased this key fob replacement for my 2016 Jeep Cherokee, but it did not fit the electronic components from my original key. Even though it was listed as compatible, the internal electronics would not transfer properly, making the fob unusable. This defeats the purpose of a replacement shell and resulted in wasted time and money. Very disappointed, and I would not recommend this product for a 2016 Jeep Cherokee unless compatibility is clearly corrected.

Everything is great with this FOB except that the panic button doesn't sit flushed with the body. Since the panic button is slightly raised it presses when you inset it into the hole and sets off the alarm. I still have to malfunctioning FOB so I can turn off the alarm. The dealership said that it will eventually wear down, but I took it upon myself to shave it down with an exacto blade. Other than that, dealership was able to program it without issue and it works everything.

My goal was to find a product for a fraction of the cost compared to what could be found in a dealership, and this was it. The dealership was offering a fob for $160, which is what you would expect out of a dealership. I was scared to purchase something for $19 and have it not be programmable, but I had to take the chance and glad I did. The local hardware store was able to program my key fob and cut me a new key within about 15 seconds, yep, 15 seconds. I paid $40 to get it programmed, when it would've been double to triple that at the dealership. This was for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Thank-you!

A second key is always good to have onhand

For a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport... to replace a single key fob that started locking/unlocking on its own due to internals breaking down. Programmed with AlfaOBD. Works perfectly.
