LANCHI95 12PCS Unframed Dark Academia Moody Gothic Art - Victorian Decor

These are stunning prints and an amazing value for the cost! I can't wait to get a bunch of cool frames for them! They're on a semi stiff paper. Not as stiff as a postcard, but similar to a photo. The surface is not glossy and more similar to a matte. Some of the corners are damaged, but only the very tips, so they should be ok once they're framed. I love that this comes with some sticky dots. You're able to hang them straight onto a wall, but also the dots are thin enough that you can use them to hold these in place within a frame if you wanted to do something like a collage with the prints. Overall I would order these again in a heartbeat and will be recommending this set to people I know.

This is a nice selection of prints to get you started redecorating your house in the very trendy "goth cottagecore" or "dark academia" style, which is all about moody artworks like these, as well as trailing ivy, dark wood floors, vintage floral wallpapers, disturbing knickknacks and strange old books. This set covers all the best kinds of images to make the hair stand up on your arms: blowsy flower arrangements, sad girls and rotting still lifes in a pleasing selection of smaller sizes, from postcard-sized up to about 10x12. For some reason, I got one extra copy of one of the smaller prints, but I'm not complaining. The print job is decent too; I couldn't find one out-of-focus or badly cropped image. They make a great weekend framing project if you go to your local thrift store and pick up an arrangement of old and unusual frames. The paper they are printed on is not very thick or sturdy, so you'll need some kind of padding in the back of the frame, and they also won't really work if you just hang them on the wall as is. You could also cut these down and make greeting cards out of them; cut them up and rearrange them into disturbing collages, or even make coasters out of them by gluing them to small wood samples from your local hardware store. All in all, the price is right for this little collection, and I've already framed a couple and put them on my dresser. Now that the "gallery wall" trend is kind of dying down, you probably won't be hanging them all up together, but there's certainly enough to sprinkle them throughout your home for a little mystery.
