So far, so good.
I've had mine for about 3 weeks now and have nothing to complain about. The leather is well oiled out of the box yet firm. No need to worry about break in time as your spuds will easily slide in or out of the rings, making it feel like a "quick draw" type of scabbard. The only single issue I've had, which is in no way due to the quality of the product, is that when kneeling, climbing or changing positions my spuds tend to ride up and nearly come completely out. This is just something I've had to learn to be conscious of and as far as I can tell has nothing to do with the quality or construction of this scabbard. We'll worth the investment, as I believe this one should last for a good portion of my career. Looking forward to trying more IW gear from the clan.

Thick Spud Scabbard!!! Caution!!!
Received made of thick leather. I believe it should last quite some time.Edit: While on the iron I’d have to pay close attention to my spuds as I’d crotch or sit on the iron. If not they may pop out of the rings with ease. I made slits around the rings like similar scabbards have. Placed in the slits, locks them in. Using a ring alone works great for a quick draw with ease well any other spud are stuck in the slits. You only have to keep in mind one spud not 2 or 3!
