Perfect, simple design. Intuitive, uncomplicated. Fits a straw inside without it being wedged against the lid, but also designed so the straw doesn't sink down into the rest of the bottle thanks to its smaller opening at the top. Lid is simple to clean, without having to worry about the gasket found in most other water bottle designs. It is leak proof when turned on its side, and the lock seems to work pretty well for keeping the lid from opening unintentionally. It is a bit hefty but that is to be expected from a glass water bottle. The glass is thick, but I recommend being extra careful not to drop it, just in case. I had gone through trial and error trying to make myself drink more water, but I hated plastic, and most reusable bottles had a flaw. Sliding lids, straws, straws with caps, sipper lids, stoppers, plastic, silicone, metal, I had tried them all. This has beat them all by far.

Water tastes better in glass… these are great water bottles. Can clean the inside easily with a long handled bottle brush and some vinegar or citric acid 👍👍

Excellent well made and doesn't leak!

This water bottle is. No it doesn’t keep cold water cold unless you put small ice cubes in it., and I don’t know if you could put hot coffee in it. It wouldn’t stay hot very long because it’s glass and it’s not insulated.. but it is wonderful. It’s easy to drink out of the lid snaps tight. Sometimes it leaks a little bit, but it’s bearable because it’s so easy to hold it and carry it with you and it doesn’t leak when the lid is on just sometimes when I drink out of it, water drips. But I don’t care because it’s safe glass and it’s easy to hold onto it doesn’t slip out of my hands rubber holder that surrounds the glass is great. I’m very happy with.. I got four of them so as soon as I empty one, I fill it up and get another one out that’s good and cold. I really can’t complain and I really do like it. I recommend it because glass is safe stainless steel and plastic is not and I really love Amazon and their products they treat you right

I like to use glass water bottles. I have a water purifier and much prefer the taste of my water compared to bottled water. I also feel that glass bottles are safer to drink from. I like the way these open. I very much like that the area I drink from is covered completely unlike many straw type lids. It is sturdy and the silicon sleeve does protect it well if dropped. I have used these Ello Water Bottles for years and have multiple ones. After a number of years, (I'm not sure how many.) the rubber loop that allows the cap to spring open has broken on some of mine. However, I can still use those bottles. I have also had other glass water bottles from another manufacturer that I also liked. However, that manufacturer discontinued this type of cap design. I am very glad that Ello still manufactures these bottles! I am very pleased with this bottle.

Bottle is sturdy, silicone sheathing is good - adds nice grip and prevents slipping. I find the opening difficult to drink from. It is larger than a water bottle opening and hard to take a sip, especially when not full. I wanted to like this, right now i am on the fence.

It's been less then 5 months one bottle cap broke and now the other leaks
