This is an awesome product, I wanted something I could monitor, my original system worked great, but was completely manual ( I couldn’t delay for rain) without being there to shut it off, we take care of our grandkids two days a week and are away from home, I wanted something that I could shut off if it was going to rain while we were away, so I bought this, what I was not expecting was that it would not water on its own if you set up that parameter, as in when you set up the app it you indicate the town you live in, it’s updated by the weather forecast for your location, and will automatically delay watering, also let’s me know when it turns on and off, how much water has been used! It was a snap to setup, use’s our WiFi, it has a five year warranty, the only thing I’m sorry about is that I didn’t buy this sooner, it is truly set it and forget it, wow who knew something so wonderful at such a reasonable price, the brass fittings make it quite durable, there is no screen that becomes obscured during the bright sun, as all the functionality is on your phone, you can also operate it manually both on the app and at device, this is an amazing design, it operates amazingly, thank you for a great experience.

This RainPoint WIFI controlled sprinkler/water timer is the freedom I was looking for. Every year my vegetable garden would suffer when I went out of town. I got my first one with the WIFI Hub as a gift from my daughter for Father's Day and have never had a dried out garden since. The batteries lasted all season and it still look and works like new. The app seems to work flawless and has some cool scheduling features to include setting up a rain delay. This year I had my entire yard tore up and reseeded. I bought a second 2 port timer and put both on a splitter giving me 4 zones of unattended watering. I use the planner to sequence each port one at a time for 25 minutes so that I don't lose water pressure from my well. My $3000 yard investment is now protected. I am about to go on vacation without the worry of losing my garden and new grass!!!!

be careful - the connectors are brass but they are supported by plastic - I broke top trying to move a hose, The entire inlet/outlet should be 100& brass, not just the threading connectors. I have 4 and they work great when not broken. Make sure NOT to leave outside in winter below freezing - I lost all 4 units last winter and bought all new again. The app is good although I had a timer run anyway after I unchecked a day

The value of this timer is great, especially when you catch it on sale. I use it for simple scene automation to water my flower beds and yard sprinklers. The user experience of the app isn't the best, but once you understand it, and its limitations, you can manage the functionality fairly easily and customize it to your needs. I did have an issue with the water timer and RainPoint customer service was incredibly helpful. I will stick with this company after that experience. Thank you Ketty!

I tried a couple version of these products, and I've been consistently let down. Their network reliability is very poor. The timer is roughly 20 ft away from the gateway, but I constantly find a devices is going offline requiring me to power cycle the gateway. When it is connected, it could take between 30 and 60 seconds to respond to any input command I send through the app. No issues with any other devices on my network and, I've tried moving the gateway around to no avail. Scene schedules are spotty and unreliable. I'd like to have a wired version of the gateway but not sure that would completely solve the issue.

Great timer, easy to set up and connect to the hub, and easy to set up for watering the plants on a preset schedule. Timer looks and feels sturdy, definitely worth its price. i plan to keep growing my garden and if needed I'll definitely buy another one of these.

When the input connector on my 2-Zone WIFI Water Timer broke I contacted RainPoint to find out what options were available to me for fixing or replacing the broken part. When I called customer support I got through immediately, described the problem and within a few minutes it was resolved with them offering to send me a full replacement of the device. When the support representative found out that the model they would be replacing for me was on back order and it's shipment to me would be delayed, they contacted me the very next day to tell me and apologize for the delay. They give me an estimate as to when it would be available and offered me a full refund if I did not wish to wait for the replacement. I chose to wait and during that time I received updates from the same support representative on the status of the shipment timing, and to alert me to it's imminent arrival when it had been ship out to me at the time predicted. This is the second 2-Zone WIFI Water Timer I own . I purchased the second unit because after over a year of use I had been very pleased with the functionality, quality and effectiveness of the first unit I owned. I continue to be pleased with the units I have and can now add to that my satisfaction with the company's customer service.

Very easy to install and use. I love that it can be used with a wifi soil moisture sensor and can delay watering based on weather reports and rain. My first one had a problem and they replaced it quickly, no questions asked.
