This is so easy to install and DOESN’T require removing the seat. It has no lid just an opening. The only issue…if you are a rather large butted individual such as myself, it requires slight maneuvering to hit the target so to speak. I bought this for a knee replacement and it has been of great help. It’s easy to remove for others to use the toilet if needed and easy to clean. If this is for a permanent install, another seat might be a better option. But for a temporary install, it’s hard to beat.

This is a must have after surgery, making trips to the bathroom so much safer. Since I had spinal fusion surgery it's also a wonderful way to get some exercises in. I do my leg lifts and calf/hamstring stretches using it. It's extremely sturdy and durable to make all these things safer. I think this is one of the best things I bought for my recovery. I highly recommend this item for anyone needing a safer, sturdier option for the toilet.

Didn’t like it, too bulky of a seat and hole not wide enough To fit my butt . Returning item and also not steady . Almost fell over the first time using it

Easy to set up, no tools needed, just insert some poles into other poles. Easy. This is solid no leaning or sense of instability. It's exactly as advertised and does exactly as intended —provide a stable raised toilet, as stable as if it were nailed down. VERY PLEASED.

Works perfect. I took two star because the first one the pipes did not fit, but once I got a new one, it works great.
