It’s a good quality cable which makes life a little easier. If I need to charge my laptop in bed rather than at my desk, as per usual, an extension saves having to take out the plug and find another socket (and for me that means having to unplug something else). One thing to note: If you are doing anything more than charging such data transfer etc. you may find it’s not connecting. In that case you just have to do a 180 and plug it in the other way round. Hope that helps some out there.

Allowed me to fix my Switch 2 Ethernet had stopped working when connected to the switch 2 dock - seems to be a known issue. Fix it by using this cable to connect the dock to my phone for 5-10 minutes then re-inserting the switch

Works either way up for data - not all do! Doesn't work for power on my laptop but I don't care because I bought it for data.
