NURI Portuguese Sardines in Olive Oil and Lemon Special Edition - 4 Pack - 4.4 oz cans

These are my favorite lemon sardines for the value. They use olive oil and real lemon. No seed oil, lemon oil, or other flavorings or preservatives used. The value is quite good. I would say they are one tier lower than Jose Gourmet but I might actually prefer the Nuri. I never notice bones and the taste is very fresh and next level and they are good enough to eat straight out of the tin. The sardines are a nice size and well intact. The packaging is beautiful, too.

Definitely a cut above the average. Two cuts, even! In sardines in particular, quality makes a huge difference. The flavor and texture of these are definitely top-drawer. Cheap? No. Worth every penny? Definitely!

Quite good and not overly fishy . All palates are different . I dont like strong fishy flavors . If you dont mind fishy , Matiz products are excellent . Buy cans of different brands to see what you like before you buy a case of something you cant choke down !

Good sized mild sardines in olive oil. There’s a lemon slice in there but it’s very hard for me to detect the lemon flavor. They’re still great textured sardines, pleasant tasting, easy to eat, with a mild sardine smell and flavor, unlike other sardines I’ve tried that were too fishy, They have a good salt content, not too salty. You get what you pay for.

I liked the texture and the flavor. I did not feel the lemon that much. A little pricy.

The lemon doesn’t taste as balanced as it should. Nuri sardines are definitely the best you can buy but I found the lemon in this particular product to be a bit too much.tone it down a little and you’ll have a winner.

The item in question is definitely excellent and the high quality is displayed firstly by the care taken with the packaging, which prepares one to its contents. Speaking frankly, the very good quality places this on a higher level than many other similar items available on the Amazon site yet, without detracting from these last ones, if one wants to enjoy this fine fish AND fine olive oil, here would be a good place to start.

Misleading ad, stating it includes 4 items, you only get 1. The taste is better than a regular canned sardines', but its not nearly 6 quid worth.

The pruduct is good but be aware you will not received 4 pieces for 5 pound. You will receive 1 . It is advertised 4 but you will receive 1. Quite expensive

Good quality sardines but the description is incorrect as you only get one tin. When I ordered them I did think it was too good to be true and so have rated three stars instead of one star.

Olive oil and lemon? Taste the same as cheap one. Extremely expensive
