It also has a colorful section at the back with a large fold out timeline and maps of different areas during different time periods. I find the ESV (English Standard Version) to be readable without so many major changes from the King James as to make it unfamiliar. I have been using it for nearly the whole year, and have been really blessed as usual by God's Word but also by the format. It is surprising what a different layout can have on your perspective.

Great for Reading the Bible Through
I love, love, love this Bible! It is broken up into 365 daily readings and everything is presented in the order it happened in history. Time, time, time.
What an outstanding idea for a Bible layout. I have been using it for nearly the whole year, and have been really blessed as usual by God's Word but also by the format. It is surprising what a different layout can have on your perspective.

Amazon, step up on your packaging SOP
Pros: Handy size bible and easily portable in spite of the thickness. Love the layout of the passages; makes chronological reading an ease. Cons: Pages are really thin and needs to exercise care in flipping pages - easily torn. PS: Amazon should do a better job at packaging their items. No protective bubble wrap. All items were placed directly into the courier box. As a result, all my items are defectives in one way or another, e.g. dented corners and damp marks on covers. See picture for details. Very disappointing!!!!

Love this
Really nice bible I'm looking forward to completing the study plan. Great for anyone wanting to level up their studies and getting into the actual timeliness. I love ESV it's my favourite translation. It has readings for each section to reflect on and a pull out time line with so much information on but gives a clear visual of the bible theme and story.

This bible is what I've been looking for years. I have tried many different translations and additions but this one is the best. I was treasure it for years to come. Thank you, Amazon.
