Women's Wide Leg Pants with Side Slits - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Petra

These pants are very comfortable - light & loose. If you're 5'6"ish or under, they may be too long for you. I've worn these in weather that is F90-100+, in both dry heat and muggy, and kept as cool as you can in that sort of weather. I don't think I've been in direct sun more than an hour or two in these pants, but I didn't get a hint of even tan, definitely no burn. It is shocking, in fabric so thin. When temps dropped to around 50F, I've worn leggings underneath and it kept me surprisingly warm, and static-free. I wash them on delicate and line-dry. They dry very quickly. It may seem that it's a lot to pay for such a thin fabric, but it seems pretty resilient, but there's nothing like them. Most light, comfortable, sun-blocking pants and skirts don't breathe very well. Most other fabrics are light and flowy, but you still build up heat. Not these pants. I've been looking for truly comfortable, light, sun-blocking, and attractive pants or skirts for literal YEARS. These are the first that fit the bill. I've bought them in multiple colors.

Lightweight, flowy sun protective pants. I live in these all summer long as someone with cutaneous lupus and extreme sun sensitivity! Thin enough you don’t overheat, loose cut and smooth, soft fabric means that my hyper-sensitive skin doesn’t freak out. Dries quickly if you are traveling. Weighs almost nothing (also amazing if you are traveling). Somehow has a tiny bit of stretch in the fabric too. Sun protection that doesn’t feel like I’m going off to go on a mountain hike (finally). Seriously, I have half a dozen of these pants!

Just the thing when it is too hot for dress slacks. A blouse with sun protection dresses them up or down for casual picnic to nice restaurant. True to size, I am 5’5” and the length is just right with wedge shoes. If you are tall you may want to tie the bottoms as shown for a capri length. A bonus is the side slits let you pull them on and off over shoes, which I like to do at the gym. The sun protection and design make them worth the price to me,

Took a chance on these pants when they were on sale. They are super lightweight, with an almost silky feel. I’m petite height and the length is good when the bottoms are tied up. I haven’t worn in the heat yet, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be perfect. With the UPF rating, no sunscreen is needed. They are cute and comfortable. I sized up to a medium. Normally a 4 or a 6 Petite, for reference.

I’m 61 and these are even long enough for me. They are a couple inches from my ankles and that’s exactly what I was hoping for. Super cute. Very high quality material as you would expect from Coolibar.

I'm going on a beach vacation and needed attractive UV protected clothing over my bathing suit while lounging on a beach chair. I bought these pants in white and am thrilled with the lightweight fabric and well made product! I am 5'3' and weight 165 and the medium is perfect.
