Lighter than other cast iron pans but just as durable. Completely nonstick after proper seasoning.
Great pan overall. A bit thinner cast iron than others, but seems just as durable. Also feels a bit lighter so manageable with one hand. Scrubbed it clean on arrival, then seasoned before first use. Wiped on some canola oil and put it in 400 degree oven for 30 min. After 30 min., re-coated with fresh canola oil and gave it another 30 min in 400 degree oven. First use was cooking diced potatoes, green chilies and scrambled eggs skillet plate. Turned out perfect with no sticking. Cleaned the pan by soaking for a time in small amount of dish soap and hot water, then scrubbed with copper mesh scrubber. Perfectly clean and maintained its seasoning well.
