Maelstrom Waterproof Swim Backpack, Gear Sports Bag With Shoe Compartment

I’m a nurse practitioner and bounce between several different clinics weekly for work, so I needed a sturdy work bag that could carry a lot and would be easy to travel with without breaking the bank. Initially I went for the teal color with large carrying capacity, not realizing it was a swim bag, but after reading the reviews I knew if it didn’t help as a work bag I’d use it for our beach/river trips instead. This bag is really great. Really love the color, very sturdy and well made backpack that is comfortable. Lots of capacity for laptop and other resources/tools I’d need for work, with several helpful compartments for smaller/loose items. I’m using the bottom compartment as a drink/snack bag. Overall this is a well made, versatile backpack for a great price. I like it so much I’m actually buying another one for our beach/river trips. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase!

This bag is awesome! I have been using it daily for swimming for a little over a month now. There is plenty of room for towels, equipment, and personal items. Great for when you need to transition from work. Zippers are excellent and don’t get stuck. Totally waterproof with a separate section for wet items inside. I have gotten several compliments on it.

I can’t say enough good things about this backpack! Honestly. The wet bags that clip inside the backpack for wet suits after practice, the amount of space it has, so many pockets. Water bottle holder that holds our giant 40oz water bottle. I love the color, it’s not heavy, and I appreciate that it can double as a soccer practice bag when we’re not at swim. The front bungee straps are stretchy enough to be able to hold a soccer ball too. It also has a smaller wet bag like pocket to hold soaps and bottles and in the event those explode or leak they won’t get on your clothes, the bag won’t be stained or ruined, and it makes for insanely easy and quick cleaning. I couldn’t have picked a better backpack for what we needed. The cutest thing is the front where the American flag is on the picture is Velcro material so the flag peels off and you can get other things to easily customize it to whatever you want, I thought that was a really neat little touch they made, especially when I have more than one kid who uses it. I can easily switch between name tags if I needed to for a class or something.

I purchased this for a cruise to bring on beach excursions and was pleased with the capacity and comfort! I used it for 3 people including a large towel for us each, a change of clothes, water bottles, sunblock and other small tubes of stuff, 2 phones, kindles, towel clamps, etc. and it all fit nicely without a bunch of digging around to find anything. I would have liked to see a bit deeper bottle holders, as mine stuck out a little more. Nothing fell out, but still better to be more secure. The zip pockets on the side become pointless if you're using water bottles since you can't fit anything in them with the bottles in the way. So that just makes the width needlessly bulkier. The shoulder straps were comfortable with or without a shirt so that was helpful too. Overall it looks like a bunch of straps and junk that I wish I could remove to make it look more streamline and clean, but I do love the color and design still. I also liked that when I had something in the bottom compartment the whole thing was stable enough to stand upright without tipping over when searching through the bag. I'd make some small changes here and there, but I'm pretty picky. Overall a solid purchase!

I can’t brag on this bag enough. It’s nice and sturdy, and has pockets for everything. The color is exact and it fits everything I need to swim and shower after. It is a little heavy when loaded with wet swimwear but that is to be expected. It is very comfortable and comes with a reusable wet bag. I love this bag.

This backpack is even better than I thought it would be. It holds all my swim gear and is just the right size. Easy to carry and put on/take off. I especially like the shoe storage on the bottom where I put my wet flippers and water shoes. The main storage area is excellent as well. It’s well made- the zippers work well and don’t get caught in the lining like my older, larger and much more expensive backpack. I like all the pockets, too. Finally, it’s a great color- distinctive and recognizable amongst other swimmers’ bags.

I work in a pool and having to constantly transport wet bathing suits clothes and towels has been a challenge but using this backpack its made my life so much easier! It holds all my stuff and my phone and keys havent gotten wet ever in the side pouches. I dont treat it with care as i swim so frequently and i have yet to have a problem. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a good way to transport items dry or wet for a much better price than its competitors.

This is the best swim bag .I swim 3-4 days a week.For a reasonable price you are getting a great quality bag.It is sturdy but not too heavy to carry.It has pockets with netting to allow your swimming equipment to dry, I dry my caps and keep them in the nets.It has a bag for your wet suit , and a zip bottom for shoes, shower shoes or whatever youd like to keep there.The color is gorgeous and I love the velcro flag patch.Great value, I would buy it again but due to the great quality , I probably wont have to for a very long time.

Opinião sincera: bem melhor que a mochila da arena, mais resistente, ventilada...tem um ótimo tamanho, serve tanto pra treino, qto pra viagem, a parte de baixo pode usar pra colocar calçado ou bebida, é térmica...achei ótima! Recomendo.

Fantastic backpack, I was hesitant to buy it because I wasn’t familiar with the brand. Why all swim stores don’t carry it baffles me. Great design with loads of pockets and compartment for all your stuff. Very good quality, stylish and comfortable on your back. I totally recommend it. Thumbs up from me.

Excelente producto, muy espacioso, con muchos compartimentos y el material se ve de calidad. Lo recomiendo., me parece que es más estética que otras marcas populares.
