Dossier - Woody Sandalwood - Inspired by Santal 33 - Unisex EDP

I purchased this on a whim not knowing the brand. Of course I know why they are now. I was looking for a sandalwood cologne and couldn't find anything. I know this scent is meant for females, but to me it's a bit more masculine. Other sandalwood scents don't smell like sandalwood, so I didn't have high hopes for this. When it arrived it smelled amazing! It actually smells like sandalwood. Honestly to me it smells just like Billie E1. I can't type the full name out. They're almost identical. When I wore it to work several co-workers immediately said "that smells so good. That's your scent, never change it." I've since purchased a second bottle and another of their scents. It does wear off rather quickly, I'd say about 3 to 4 hours but it's still worth it. Sometimes I put it on even if I'm not leaving the house. If you love sandalwood try this scent, even if you're a guy like me.

Pleasantly surprised! This product smells almost identical to Le Labo Santal 33. It doesn’t last as long and the smell isn’t as powerful, which I was expecting for the price. I love this for every day use and only use Le Labo when I’m going out. Great dupe!

This is a beautiful fragrance. It's a different type of scent. Not sweet, floral, or even citrus .... but soft, woodsy and attention getting. I ordered my first bottle from the actual Dossier site, this time I ordered it from Amazon and they sent me the wrong fragrance. They won't allow me to return it. I can't reorder it for the same price. And I can't even check to be sure if I re-order, will they send the correct fragrance. They sent me an Ambery Saffron fragrance with a Woody Sandalwood sticker on it.

I absolutely love this one. I’ve purchased quite a few scents from Dossier and honestly I’ve loved all of them. I was specifically looking for a dupe for Le Labo Santal 33 and this one gets very close. It has that same warm, woody, slightly musky scent that makes the original so popular. I usually spray it on both my skin and clothing. The longevity on clothing is excellent — I can still smell it the next day. It doesn’t last quite as long on my skin, but that’s pretty common for most fragrances. Overall I’m very happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

liked the scent but not as much as I love the Le Labo Santal 33. I also wish the scent could last on my skin for more than twenty minutes. That's the only negative really. Maybe my skin is just too clean.

Part of my signature scent. I love this woody, sweet alluring scent. It’s not 100% santal 33 but it’s perfect for me. I love to layer it and frankly it’s nice that you can either lean into the sweet floral undernotes and put a gourmand scent or you can lean into the woody and earthy scent and layer with a rich oud oil. Yum. I love this scent. I get compliments whether I’m wearing it solo or layered up. I do wish it lasted longer, but I just re-apply because the price is right.

I would have returned this but it’s a non refundable item. Giving it 3 stars bc it does smell a lot like the Le Labo Santal 33 perfume BUT lacks longevity. In my opinion, that’s the whole point so this feels like a waste of money. I applied 4 sprays at first and felt it was gone in only 2-3 hours. It wore off like a body mist or something water based and temporary. It didn’t even stick to clothes or fabric. I tried again applying even more but had the same issue - only difference being that it was a bit of overkill for the first 30min or so. This is my 2nd time trying dossier and have the same feedback for both scents. My last purchase was directly through their site and it came w a better discount. I’d suggest using a coupon or code / waiting for a sale and buying direct. I believe you can return for a refund if you buy direct, too.
