Gentle and soothes skin
I have always liked Aveeno products, and I love this. It doesn’t sting or make the skin itch, and it doesn’t have a strong soapy fragrance. I put it in a bottle with a pump, and it lasts a very long time, even with two people using it. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I like that it isn’t cluttered up with a lot of ingredients. I feel it does a good job cleansing, but gently, so it doesn’t deplete the skin’s natural oils.

New Formula, Worse Than The Old Formula
I've been using this product through its various phases since around 2004. The original colloidal oatmeal was -the best- but they changed the fragrance. They've now changed it again, presumable to add water. It is noticeably less sudsy than the product that was available about a year ago. It is less smooth, generally, and doesn't leave the same smooth skin feeling that the original did. I get that companies need to change their product from time to time, but it never really seems to be an improvement -- except for shareholders. It was asked elsewhere, but the pouch for the body wash refill is ABSOLUTELY NOT RECYCLABLE. Look at the back. That recycling symbol with the diagonal line through it literally means that this type of plastic is not recyclable. It will go to a landfill.
