Newpoint Microfiber King Down Comforter, Ivory

Mine has been on the bed for a week. I have not noticed any odor or feather leakage. Perhaps the people having odor problems have not gotten them throughly dry. Even the most expensive comforter will smell like wet bird. I owned a laundry and washed many down comforters. They are never the same after they are washed and I would not wash a new one. They take much longer to dry than people think and should be dried slowly on med. heat. This is a true red, very hard to find. The fabric is very soft on the skin, ideal for people like us that don't like a top sheet. I will probably order another to have when this one wears out.

No odor, no feathers leaking, either. From the first day I used it, every time I push my hand down on it, it plumps right up. I keep my thermostat down to save on gas bills, and this certainly helps. I have read the reviews about problems with washing, so I'm going to look for a cover for it, so I'll just wash that instead.

I had orderd previously a sage green comforter and my grandaughter loved it so much I decided to get one for her, she is three. She picked out the color and now we have it and she loves it as much as I love mine. Nothing better than getting under our soft down comforters. I will definitely suggest this a wonderful buy. Delivery was prompt and I highy reccomend the product.

The blanket is great. Nice and warm. Well made. No smells. Only thing is the color looks more grayish than black. Like it has been washed and faded, but other than that it is a very nice comforter.

I think I've been patient enough. Have washed it a few times thinking the feathers would stop, but getting worse. Little bits of down coming out of fabric, makes comforter look "linty" if that's the word. Never wrote a review before, but feel I'm going to have to get rid of it, and then this get's a little pricey for the use I got out of it! Color looks great if you don't mind the feathers!

Well I feel the negative reviews are from people who have never owned a comforter with FEATHERS in it. When you wash it is gonna stink. It needs to be dried correctly. The odor goes away when it is fully dried. You are gonna have some feathers escape also. Use a lint brush on it... a little common sense goes along way.I have the navy blue one and a sage and a red. I have no complaints at all. Tese comforters are great for the price.

This is by far the best down comforter I have ever owned. It's well made and has held up to many washings. I have had virtually no feathers come out during the laundering. You cannot feel any feathers poking and this comforter is extremely soft and warm. I'm going to buy one for every bedroom in the house!

This is really nice comforter, very light and warm. No smell and no leaking feathers. I liked it so much that I bought another one in different color.

I received two power cables instead! Weirdest shopping experience ever!
