I bought these for my grandchildren to paint before dinner on Thanksgiving. Most of the children did one and enjoyed it. I did several later. I wanted to use them on my glass patio door to keep the birds from flying into it. They seem to be working. We haven't had any flying catastrophes since and they look much nicer than the paper snowflakes I had up before. I would by these again. They would make a great party activity for a children's birthday party and make a nice favor to take home.

I got these for my daughter to use to decorate her playhouse plexiglass windows. She's 9 and has recently fallen in love with the artistry of stained glass, so was thrilled to have the ability to design her own. One of the issues we've had with her playhouse windows is that the plexiglass isn't smooth enough for clings to be able to make any purchase. We have the same issue with the ribbed plexiglass panels in the greenhouse. She would long have loved to decorate them, but clings won't cling! The fact that these have adhesive was a godsend. It's not much - they're not as sticky as her regular water bottle stickers, for example - but it's enough to take them from yet another static cling that only works on genuine glass to an actual sticker she can use on plexiglass.On the flip side, the patterns are extremely complicated, not really appropriate for younger children in terms of the motor skills required to complete them. Only about 2 or 3 of them are ones my 9 year old daughter can manage on her own. Most are teen and adult level of intricacy. The markers are generic paint pens, not glass paint or anything special, and 8 colors really are not enough to do any of these designs justice. Thankfully they do have fine enough tips to be able to handle the extremely small detailed areas on some of these patterns.Overall, it's a nice set for a teen project like a sleepover, but I would not advise purchasing for anyone under 10.

These were so much fun to do with my 8 and 9 year old daughters. Great quality and a fun craft to do with the kids. Looks beautiful once done and put on the windows. Looks like real stained glass!

The markers that came with this were difficult to use and one exploded on my 10 yo when she was trying to open it. We used other markers we had—acrylic paint markers. These had fine and brush tips and were way easier to use and less messy. The concept is good, the markers are annoying.

The design of these mandalas are so beautiful and detailed. I did this with my little one. We had to much fun. The paint pens dries quickly so no mess. The pen tip is a little thick for some of the designs, just need to use a lighter hand to drag the paint slowly to fit. Looks beautiful on the window and sticks well. Planning to do some with my friends for paint night also. Great for destressing while being creative.
