Central Vacuum Hose Cover - 35-37 ft - Paded Machine Washable Universal Cover

We have a 35 foot corrugated hose for our central vacuum system. The hose came with a thin fabric cover to protect floors and walls but it's starting to leave dirt on the nosepiece of the carpeted stairs when we drag the hose upstairs -- the only carpet left in the house. Time for a replacement cover. I saw this quilted cover for a very reasonable price, wondering how something can have a 35 foot zipper. Sure enough, it does. It feels like a thin but still substantial quilted blanket. We stretched the hose across the house and laid this next to it to make sure I ordered the right size. Sure enough, it matched. Undid the nicely protected zipper, started at one end, and 5 minutes later, we had it all zipped up over the hose. The cover is a little longer than our hose (it says "for 35-37 foot" hoses) and we found that by pulling it and bunching it a bit over one end can consume the extra two feet without a problem.There's no question that the padded cover it will protect our floors, stairs, and walls better than the thin fabric cover that came with the hose. Very happy with this, and I expect it'll hold up nicely.

I bought this as a replacement for a cover I bought from the vacuum dealer who sold us our central vacuum system. This one fits better, looks better, and appears to have a far superior zipper to the dealer version. It installed easily. This appears to be a really good value.

I was worried that either this cover would be heavy and create drag, but it doesn't. It is light, and it prevents the hose from annoyingly catching on furniture and cabinet corners and potentially damaging them. It also makes the hose glide easier over flooring. It's very light, and it has a zipper all the way along it, so it only took a minute or two for me to put this on.Much better than I expected.

Very easy to put on hose. Zipper is strong and smooth and hidden so it doesn’t hurt my wood floors. My hose drags effortlessly across all flooring and around corners now. Without this cover, the hose got hung up around corners causing paint wear and it would twist on itself. The cover prevents all this. Be sure to measure your hose when extended.

I have had central vac for years but never had a cover for my hose. I love this cover. I no longer worry about damaging walls or furniture with the hose! So nice!

For the price it is a good value. Zippered all way so very easy to put on but most importantly to me is that dog hair or dirt does not stick to it.I cannot attest to the length. My husband told me it was the wrong size so I can’t tell you how the length fits. I bought a 35 and my hose is 30 so it’s plenty long.

Looks great, with an ideal "length to fit" our longer hose. The cover really protects baseboard corners and slides great without damage. Very happy.

This hose cover is awesome. It was easy to put on and the zipper is very well hid so not to scratch the wall when pulled to different locations. We just had new floor boards put on and painted and did not want to scratch them. I bought this with questions but once I received it and put it on he hose it has worked wonderfully.

We bought two of these, one for the main floor, one for the basement. This hose cover keeps your floor clean with no scratch! A little awkward to put it on but 2 people can manage with no problem. Measure the size of your actual hose before buying. Some hoses are longer than others. The first one we bought was at least 12"" too long for the hose so we had to twist it and tight it to make it fit. It was quite a job! But overall, good product and zipper is of good quality.

I liked the first one I bought , so I bought another one . This time i put in a 35 ft cord inside the sleeve along with the vacuum hose so I could use my power head for carpet. My old powered hose broke after only a year of minimal use and I wasn't going pay 250 dollars for another powered hose that would crack near the hose end . Non powered hoses you can trim some off and put the hose end back on.Really helps protect furniture

I was surprised to find this doesn't fit my 35' hose - the diameter is perfect, but it's not long enough? Strange considering they claim it has an extra 2' / will cover a 37' hose. It's considerably short too, it's not just a few inches off, it's off by a few feet. Oh well..by the time i opened it all up/got it on the hose & realized it wasn't long enough, I didn't care enough to return & buy something else. Otherwise it's great!

Product was very easy to install--after I shortened it to the length of my Beam central vacuum hose. The cover was the stated length., but I didn't measure my hose, assuming that all Beam hoses were the same, since one reviewer said it fit their hose. It was relatively easy to cut the cover to the needed length and add the zipper stoppers at the end after removing them from the unneeded part of the cover.

It was very easy to install around hose The zipper and the Velcro hold the ends properly and a tie as well. The fabric is quilted. I haven’t washed as yet. It is proper to cover the hose because of all the debris and dust it gathers on the floor. I am hoping the fabric washes well. It would be air dry and not put into the dryer.
