gets a lot of things right
Currently a lead product designer and picked this book up. It’s great and accurate overall about hard skills vs non hard skills and how to really take your career to the next level. If you’re mid level or senior, you’ll enjoy this read!

A MUST HAVE - Excellent guide for EVERY Product Designer!
As a Product Designer, I loved how well the author was able to observe practical methodologies in different landscapes. He provides fantastic ideas, tips and multiple perspectives on how to flourish in the industry. There were many insights that tend to go unnoticed by myself, and other designers, that are highlighted extremely well. This book will absolutely help you polish your skills as a designer, and provides the perfect amount of balance to excel in your career. Highly recommended.

Printing defect or paper of very poor quality
The problem is only on the right side. The defect is visible from the first to the last page 😡. The impression is ruined

Solid advice
A great collection of lessons for product designers. In fact the advice would work equally well for UX researchers, brand designers, graphic designers and others. Loved the concise and no-fluff language and the “meta” chapter on how to consume knowledge from books more effectively.

Waste of time and money
The content of this book is a bit of a joke, considering the price and target audience. It might be a good read for juniors, but not for mid and senior.

Wish more books had this format
I loved that there are different topics with different advice, not necessarily following one narrative (besides helping you to become a better designer). You can open the book at any random chapter and start reading and you'll learn something. It really makes it easier to read. I find it a better format than one long book on one topic that could be a blog post (actually the author talks about it as well in the chapter about how to efficiently consume knowledge from design books and how to pick books).

Highly relevant and valuable book
Effective communication is a must-have skill for product designers. That’s exactly why I started reading this book. The advice in this book is practical, and the tips are actionable, so designers can immediately apply them to their work. For example, I explored the inversion technique — one of the methods to avoid mistakes. It involves looking at a problem from a reversed perspective to make better decisions. And this is just one of the 27 insightful practices offered in the book that are incredibly helpful. That’s why this book is excellent! Also, it was great that the book highlighted the topic of sustainability with excellent examples of how to apply it in projects. Easy and fast to read, definitely recommend!

A must read for any Product Designer
As usual, Artiom's books address the bigger levers in a product designer's career. I have personally benefited from his previous books and I believe this book is as useful and as practical as the ones before it. I highly recommend it.
