**Q: How does that little pin fit in the hole on the door jamb? Mine has a hole big enough for the latch which is much bigger than the small pin.**
A: Because the plastic is so stiff, it tries to keep the door open but the little pin catches on the hole on the door jam. It honestly works great and I'd recommend it. I've ever bought them for my son.

**Q: Can two be hooked together to create a longer latch?**
A: They are not designed to link together.  If trying to use anything as an extender, you would need for it to create the same tension so it does not become disengaged from the door latch.

**Q: What type of door does this cat latch apply to?**
A: Just about any door with a working door knob.  Round or lever type.

Works extremely well to hold door open a few inches for cats but keep it mostly closed for privacy and to keep the robot vacuum out. I also like that it keeps the door from closing so we don't have to worry about the cats being trapped in a room while we are out. Very sturdy so you need a little umph to pop it over the knob to install. Easy to set in to place and to remove when you want to open the door fully.
