Terra Hiker Portable Camping Gas Stove with Convenient Piezo Ignition, 3500W Small Durable Backpacking Cooker with Carrying Case

I was a little nervous in buying such a cheap stove but nevertheless used it for several weeks in Arctic Russia. It was excellent, no problems whatsoever. It is very stable even with large saucepans (we ere cooking for 4 people). Very quick when boiling water but also easily controllable for simmering etc. We packed this stove into its carry box at least twice a day without any detriment to the folding legs or pipe. All in all, spectacularly good value for a very good stove. So good I bought a second one.

A great low cost camping stove, folds down and packs into its own carry case once cooled (avoid hot cookers in plastic carriers!). I specifically wanted one with a gas bottle offset from the cooker to allow a more stable base on uneven ground and this fits the bill perfectly, the integrated ignition saves scrabbling around for matches or a lighter but I'm not sure how long that will last as it is a little flimsy.From unpacking and lighting to having hot water for a coffee and a warm boil in the bag meal takes less than five minutes so ideal for a quick stop - by the time you have finished your coffee the cooker is cool enough to pack away ...... then you're off again.Overall a great alternative to some of the more expensive versions available.

Nice little stove. This is the first one of this type I've bought (I've previously had the ones that look like a one ring stove).This heats stuff up fast and is stable on grass.The piezo electric spark works fine, as does the gas-control valve.It's quick to mantle and dismantle and with a tiny bit of jiggling fits back in it's box fine.BTW It doesn't need an adapter to work with this gas - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01BKKYNU6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_8

Wow, Gas Stove in your pocket. Carry and take it with you where ever you want. Yes, it is actually that small. You can hold it on the palm of your hand. It is very light weight too. Extremely easy to use and the flame can be adjusted too. With such compact size having this option is very impressive. It looks and feels very strong and sturdy. It came in a lovely red colour box which is also very nice, strong and can easily fit anywhere. The side stands are foldable making it even easier to use it keep pan or any other thing to keep on top of it.

Used it once and seemed really good - until the ignition switch fell off. Will be contacting the supplier so will possibly increase the rating depe on their response.

I have not used this item, I bought it as a present. However I have been informed that during the bad storm we had recently it remained wind proof, that it's also a very good little cooler. It came in a really nice compact case. I have also been informed by the recipient that a well known brand have recently bought this design and the price has almost doubled. He is very very happy with it and said it exceeded his expectations

Very sturdy design and solid build. Built in piezo ignition is very handy. Tested indoors; it boiled 1 litre of water at room temperature just over 3 mins so I believe realistically at ambient temperature and wind it would take around 4 mins to boil 1 litre of water.It comes in small handy box, easily foldable to palm size (attached pics to give you an idea of its portability)

I considered this over expensive MSR, Primus etc and I must say that's the best decision. I wanted a stove for my camping trip in Norway. I came across this in Amazon and for the quarter of the price of any MSR stove, I got this.This is sturdy and well built stove. As you can see in the picture, I can fit a big pot as well to cook easily for 4 people. It throws a very good amount of flame and you can easily control it. Inbuilt piezo ignition works well too. You dont need to carry a lighter or anyhting extra.I used it with Biltema 450gm canister gas that I got from Biltema store in Norway. We cooked 12 times for 2 people over a period of 6 days with each cooking session lasted for 30-40 min and at the end of our trip we still had a lot of gas left which we could have used for 4 more cooking sesssions. So it is efficent too!Only one issue I found (not actually an issue I would say) after this use it has changed its color a bit on the burner, but I think its nothing to worry about.

 Hallo,ich habe den Campinkocher im Verbrauch getestet. Ich wollte wissen wie viel Gass benötigt wird um 1L kaltes Wasser zum Kochen zu bringen.Ich habe dafür eine Gaskartusche mit einem Nettoinhalt von 445g verwendet. Bruttogewicht von der Gaskartusche war 627g.Nach 10min laufzeit war das Wasser am kochen und die Gaskartusche war um 17g leichter auf der Wage.Ergebnis: Ihr könnt 4,5h mit diesem Campingkocher kochen, mit einer Gaskartusche mit 445g Nettogewicht. Das heist z.B. 27 x 1L Wasser aufkoche mit dem Campingkocher. Der verbrauch beläuft sich auf ca. 1,7g die Minute um den Liter wasser in 10min zum kochen zu bringen.So von der Verarbeitung bin ich zu frieden, der Feldtest in Schweden wird es zeigen, wie haltbar der kleine Kocher wirklich ist.

Fornello da campo molto ben fatto e leggero, il tutto è contenuto in uno scatolina rigido di materiale plastico rosso, pratico e comodo. Il fornello lo sto utilizzando da qualche settimana e non mi ha mai dato problemi, si è sempre acceso al primo colpo con il piezzo e mezzo litro d'acqua bolle nel giro di qualche secondo. I piedini sono retrattili per il minimo ingombro una volta chiuso, come anche i supporti della pentola, si possono allargare verso l'esterno per migliorare la stabilità, chiusi ci sta a mala pena, una cafettiera da 2, aperti vi sta ogni pentola voi vogliate!Il tubo del gas è fressibile e ruotabile, la valvola non ha mai perso e si avvita senza problemi sulle apposite bombole (non campingaz), una piccola pecca, è un po' troppo sensibile alle correnti d'aria, spostano la fiamma molto facilmente, ma per il resto è ottimo, leggero, robusto, affidabile e pratico! Dopo l'utilizzo, si raffredda molto velocemente cosi da poterlo ritirare nell'apposita scatolina! Ce réchaud est juste top. Il est peu encombrant, facile à utiliser. Une seule chose, ce réchaud est équipé d'une prise universelle. Hors en France, notamment chez Décathlon et ses bouteilles de gaz CampingGaz, nous avons notre propre système de fixation. Donc si vous voulez utiliser les bouteille de gaz CampingGaz, pensez à acquérir un Adaptateur que l'on peut trouver pour 3,5 euros sur Amazon. Adaptateur

Er ist nicht nur klein und unkompliziert zusammenklappbar, so dass er sich leicht in der beiliegenden Box verstauen lässt, sondern er ist auch noch hervorragend verarbeitet.Die verschiedenen beweglichen Teile sind passgenau gearbeitet und mit Nieten, die gleichzeitig als Scharniere fungieren zusammengefügt. Alle Teile sind sauber und ohne Grate gearbeitet und lassen sich, so weit wie erwünscht auch frei bewegen.Sehr schön ist auch, dass sämtliche Taile aus Metall gearbeitet sind, auch der Schlauch ist zwar etwas starrer, aber dafür mit einer schützenden Metallummantelung versehen. Durch die Starre des Schlauches, muss man auch sehen, dass man etwas vorsichtiger ist, wenn der Kocher frei, ohne einen Topf oder nur mit einem sehr leichten Topf drauf steht, da der starre Schlauch, wenn man ungünstig dagegen kommt, den Kocher sonst eventuell umkippen könnte.Sobald ein normaler Topf mit Inhalt drauf ist, stellt dies allerdings kein Problem mehr dar.Die Füße sind so gearbeitet, dass sie in einem Winkel ausgeklappt werden, der den Kocher ansonsten sehr sicher stehen lässt.Die Zündung funktioniert einwandfrei und auch das Ventil macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und wirkt gut verarbeitet.Mir gefällt dieser kleine Campingkocher sehr gut und ich kann ihn empfehlen.

Super petit réchaud !Livré dans une boite rouge en plastique rigide (7.5x8.5x11.5), ce réchaud est très bien protégé.Au premier abord, on ne remarque pas sa très très bonne conception : il possède trois pieds modulables en hauteur et en largeur permettant d'accueillir différents casseroles. De plus il possède un discret système d'allumage (fini les allumettes et briquet)Coté finition, il est robuste malgré un poids de 238 grammes. Le cordon mesure 35 cm.Utilisation : D'une simplicité redoutable, il suffit de visser l'embout sur la cartouche ou sur la bouteille de Gaz. La cartouche de gaz "à vis" est facile à trouver (4.99€ à Déc..thlon et 3.70€ au Vieux Cam..eur). La flamme est belle et réglable par une petite molette au niveau de l'embout.Facile a ranger après utilisation. Pour ce prix, c'est un très bon produit.Je recommande a tous

Hatte vorher einen Gaskocher von Campinggaz. Der funktionierte zwar auch gut, jedoch war mir der Aufbau mit den Click-Kartuschen zu hoch und zu wackelig. Ich suchte daher einen Kocher mit besserer Standfestigkeit.Bin dann nach einiger Recherche auf diesen hier gestossen. Habe ihn nun mehrfach im Betrieb gehabt und bin recht begeistert. Heizleistung sehrt gut, die Piezozündung funktioniert auch tadellos, für das Geld ein prima Brenner! Würde ihn aktuell auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

Hab mir den Kocher vor einer Radtour durch Island besorgt.Kriterium war hier natürlich die Standsicherheit auf unebenen Böden und die Windsicherheit.Beides wurde absolut erfüllt. durch die drei Beine sehr stabil. Insgesamt wirkt die gesamte Verarbeitung sehr robust und langlebig.Auch der Verbrauch ist im Vergleich zu anderen Kochern sehr niedrigBei richtig Wind sollte man natürlich Windschatten suchen aber sosnt abolut top!Absolut weiter zu empfehlen!

Der Terra Hiker Campingkocher wurde von mir bestellt, da meine Freunde und ich ein Wochenende campen waren. (Hatte bis dato keinen)Die Wahl fiel auf den Terra Hiker, da er sehr güngstig war und ziemlich gute Bewertungen bekommen hat, diesen kann ich nur zustimmen.Zum Kocher selbst:Er kam in der Verpackung an, welche nicht sehr groß war (ich dachte Sie wäre größer).Der Klappmechanismus ist anfangs recht schwergängig aber das legt sich mit der Zeit.Er steht sehr sicher, auch auf Wiese etc.Das Kochen geht schnell. (Ich habe die Zeit nicht gestoppt, soviel Wert lege ich nicht darauf)Die Piezozündung leistet gute Dienste, bin jedoch gespannt wie lange sie hält, da dies in meinen Augen die einzige Schwachstelle ist. (stört aber nicht weiter, da ich eh immer ein Feuerzeug dabei habe.)Ich war am Anfang skeptisch, da ich nicht wusste ob meine Mokka darauf passt. Ich besitze eine Mokka der Marke Bialetti und diese ist für 3 Tassen ausgelegt. FAZIT hierzu: Funktioniert einwandfrei und sicher. Der morgentliche Kaffee war gerettet.Von mir bekommt der Kocher eine klare Kaufempfehlung, weil es halt doch nicht immer der teure sein muss. =)LG Felix

Utilizzato già in campeggio con bombole da 250g della Primus, scelte per il tipo di attacco,se si vuole utilizzare quelle della camping Gaz bisogna comprare l'adattatore.piccolo, comodo e di facile utilizzo, il supporto basso al contrario di quelli che hanno la bombola avvitata sotto consente di poggiare sopra anche pentole più pesanti senza che si ribaltino.nel complesso un prodotto ottimo, spero solo che l'accensione piezo non si danneggi con il tempo perchè la vedo una soluzione un pò delicata per come è stata pensata.

Fornello molto leggero, facile da aprire e chiudere.Porta ad ebollizione l'acqua molto velocemente, ed è meno soggetto al vento e più stabile del fornello classico da campeggio, in quanto molto basso.Una volta chiuso occupa davvero poco spazio.Da tenere a mente però che funziona solo con bombole con valvola a vite, in Italia molto più care di quelle classiche da perforare, e non sempre facili da trovare (io le ho acquistate al Decatlon).

Il fornelletto è super! Leggero, pratico e scalda velocemente a 2000m.Però il piezo (pulsante d'accensione) del mio fornelletto non funziona: lo premo, si vede la scintilla e il fuoco non si accende. Ho provato a regolare il gas al massimo ma non succede nulla.Per fortuna che avevo con me un accendino......5 stelle se mi risolvete il problema.

Il prodotto arriva in una scatola di plastica rigida rossa molto comoda da portare comoda da portare.Il fornelletto è leggero , si apre e si chiude con molta facilità occupando poco spazio.Si accende facilmente e si può regolare la fiamma, funziona solo con bombole con valvola a vite.Consiglio a tutti questo prodotto

Ich habe mir den Kocher als Ersatz für meinen alten und sperrigen Benzinkocher gekauft, der mehr Ruß als Hitze produzierte.Meine Erwartungen waren in Anbetracht des Preises nicht sonderlich hoch, im Zweifelsfall wären es halt 17€ Verlust gewesen. Ich wurde allerdings positiv überrascht.Hatte den Kocher jetzt drei Wochen auf Motorradreise mit und ihn mit einer 230g Gaskartusche betrieben. Der Kocher steht sehr gut, wenn man die Beine einmal ausgeklappt hat. Das geht recht straff, stört mich aber nicht weiter.Egal ob morgen Tee kochen oder abends Steaks braten, der Kocher kanns. Die in anderen Rezensionen beschriebenen Probleme (angeschmorte Piezozündung, undichte Schläuche / Dichtungen) traten bei meinem Modell glücklicherweise nicht auf. Also wenn ihr Probleme habt, habt ihr mit nem Umtausch wohl gute Karten (Serienstreuung / fehlende QA lassen grüßen). Mittlerweile hat er ein wenig Anlassfarbe bekommen, was aber normal ist.Fazit: Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Fornelleto perfetto per viaggi da zaino in spalla o trekking. L'accensione è perfetta, non ha mai dato problemi e idem la valvola di chiusura.Le bombole richieste non sono le solite campingaz, ma sono quelle con la chiusura a vite (ad esempio quelle delle Primus che ha Decathlon). Queste permettono di essere richiuse e riutilizzate in un secondo momento.Unica pecca è che la fiamma non resiste granchè al vento che la sposta.A parte questo, consigliatissimo!

Le réchaud est enveloppé dans une boite en plastique qui semble assez résistante. Cette boite est perforée en dessous afin de laisser s'échapper l'humidité.La conception du produit est robuste et il ne prendra pas beaucoup de place dans votre sac à dos.Le gros plus de ce produit est l'allumage avec son piézoélectrique intégré!!
