Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Korean Face Cream Moisturizer with Ceramides and Panthenol | Korean Skin Care

Horrifically expensive, but this stuff is one of the best products I've ever found for my chronically-dry and peeling, flaky, sometimes-bleeding lips! The lip care routine I've recently found to be my Holy Grail is: 1) exfoliate with "Cure Natural Aqua Gel" (Japanese) using my fingertips 2) pour a little bit of "The Label by BLANC DOUX Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Deep Toner" into my palm and apply with fingertips 3) once absorbed, apply a rice grain-sized amount of "Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream" If I'm doing this before bed, I'll also add: 4) apply a pea-sized amount of "Lanolips The Original 101 Ointment" on top to seal in moisture overnight! This has been a highly-effective treatment for me. If this Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream weren't so damn expensive, I'd use it on my face and hands, too! But it's eye-wateringly pricey, so I just use it on my lips. Which means that the TIIINY 5ml sample size I received from Sephora (a VERY long time ago!) lasted me a surprisingly long time, so I presume this *still very small* (especially for $15-$20!) 0.5oz (15ml) tube will last me a year, if I only use it on my lips, multiple times a day (at least 2x, but sometimes more than 3x). Oh, for more information: • it's unscented • it's VERY hydrating • while it starts off like a cream, as you apply it, it melts into a greasy texture -- so if you have oily skin and want to apply it to your face, you may only want to use it at night • because of the above greasiness, I would not call it "lightweight" • it's not sticky (are any creams "sticky"??) • it lasts a very long time! I'm not talking about "the bottle lasts x months with x uses per day", I'm talking about the actual product quality vs. expiration date. Like I mentioned above, I had a VERY old sample of this product from Sephora, that I'd opened years ago. I'm talking at least 5 years, probably closer to 7-8 years. I tried it, didn't like it much, and then forgot about it. Well, the sample resurfaced a few months ago while packing for a move, and when I tried it on my lips I realized its brilliance. Anyway, this is all to say that even an opened tube will stay good for many, many years!!! And the tube design is hygienic, so aside from the air going in to occupy the empty space, there is a minimal amount of bacteria and pathogens entering the tube. (I do prefer vacuum containers for this reason though, as air can still carry plenty of microbial nasties.) If you're on the fence, I highly recommend waiting for a sale and buying the smallest size. Depending on your use case, it could very well last you years!

Dr. Jart+ is one of my favorite skincare brands, and this ceramide cream is wonderful. The formula is rich and comforting without feeling greasy, and it's packed with skin barrier supporting ingredients like ceramides and panthenol. On my dry, sensitive skin, it sinks in beautifully and leaves me feeling soft, plump, and protected all day. When I get extra dry spots in the winter, this really helps to heal them. The texture is a thicker cream, but it spreads easily and a little goes a long way, so the tube always lasts a long time. I especially love this formula at night, when I want a cocooning moisturizer that locks everything in, but it also works during the day and layers with other products without pilling. There's a very subtle scent (from the formula itself, not added fragrance) that fades quickly, and I appreciate that it doesn't irritate my reactive skin. Compared to other barrier creams I've tried, this one really helps with dryness, flakiness, and that tight feeling I get in colder weather, without feeling unbearably heavy and just sitting on top of my skin. I already love Dr. Jart's Ceramidin masks, and this cream feels like the perfect daily companion to them. The combo really helps to strengthen the skin barrier and keep moisture locked in. It's as good or better than a lot of creams that are far more expensive. Dr. Jart is always a great value.

I bought the small sample size and just reordered the larger size because this stuff works! I’ve had red inflammation spots on my cheeks for a few years and tried all the products. This simple moisturizer has decreased the redness more than any other specialty product. It’s worth the price!

This product worked well for me. I have purchased 2 travel sized tubes. However, I have learned thru my own research that the Dr. Jart brand is NOT certified as animal cruelty free. So I can't buy this product again. I hope the seller or someone else will reply if my information is wrong.

Lightweight and soft feeling skin. Non greasy and keep the skin well hydrated.

This small tube goes a long way! I had to take the time to write this review because I am impressed worth this product. I am 50 something, crocadile dry skin & normal skin on my face. I've been upset about this. I am so happy I stumbled across this, works great and I use very little daily, my face feels and looks very nice, after a couple days. It absorbs and has no irritating perfumey odor...I'm loving it.

Fragrance free and I like that because my skin is sensitive . It takes awhile to absorb into the skin . I thought the tube was small and I expected more . My skin still looks crepey and I’ve been using for awhile

Wonderful 10/10. I have greasy skin and have issues with cystic acne but have never had an issue with this giving me issues. I find my skin is soft and supple and not greasy and gross after using this. It doesnt have a scent from my experience. I have a fair skin tone and I have often noticed my skin looking lighter in color after my skin routine (Maybe its the difference between dirty vs clean) but this stuff has no effect on the lightness or darkness of my skin from my view. It doesnt burn or feel gross. It's like putting a cloud on your face.

I bought this on recommandation from someone but I have to say I agree you don't get much for your money. The cream itself is lovely, thick, doesn't leave a sticky residue and is easy to apply. The smell is lovely and not overpowering and does leave your skin feel moisturiser and soft. Given the size I'll probably keep this one in my handbag for emergency dry skin moments or for travelling and will try and buy when on promo.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden und habe mir schon zweite Tube nachbestellt. Allerdings mir war am Anfang nicht bewusst, dass die Tube so klein ist. Also ist die schon recht teuer. Aber es ist das Geld wert, solange ich es beurteilen kann.

Je l’utilise surtout lorsque ma peau est sensibilisée par des actifs comme le rétinol ou les acides, et elle apaise immédiatement les tiraillements et les rougeurs. Après quelques jours, ma peau est plus douce, plus rebondie et semble beaucoup plus résistante. Malgré sa richesse, elle ne m’a pas donné de boutons et fonctionne très bien sous une protection solaire. Son prix est un peu élevé, mais une petite quantité suffit à chaque application, ce qui la rend finalement assez économique.

Trop petit contenant mais efficace

Very moisturising formula. No irritation, good for using when skin is feeling dry after sun. I have mature rosacea prone skin and use an azelaic acid prescription which can be very drying. I don’t use this cream all the time just when I feel I need it. Small tube so not particularly a daily use
