I really don’t understand the bad reviews with this Diary with Fountain Pen. I only use Fountain Pen for my daily writing and d this Moleskine works perfectly. Medium and Fine Nib, no ghosting, or minimal. I did not try with markers, but it not my use. Before writing reviews bear in mind that it’s your opinion based on your needs. If you need a daily diary for your writing with a fountain pen, this is one of the best choice you have. If you need to sketch, draw illustration with “heavy” pens or markers, this isn’t probably your way to go, but it is not the purpose of the product.

Have one of these every year, Moleskine products are always good quality.

I have used Moleskine since 2006 and write in fountain pen . I discovered a pen and ink that does not bleed or feather on the paper of these diaries and for at least 10 years its been no problem .Until 2025 feathering is not good and the bleed throough is shocking . Same pen for the last 10 years same ink so this is not the issue here. EDIT: I have been having a bit of nightmare with this diary. I replaced my pelikan 200 foutain pen nib with an extra fine to try to stop the feathering and bleed through and I am using Rohrer and Klingen Gall ink ( and have been for at least 6 years with no issue on any previous diary ) at best it made 10% difference . This evening I have tried a cross gel rollerball much against my priciple for diary writing . Perfect no feathering but it bleeds through ! short of writing in pencil or biro this paper cannot take any 'wet' ink . .My love affair with moleskine is rapidly heading to divorce .. Really consider the above before buying .

I purchased this journal to be a writing companion for my intended daily planner but when I opened it, was thrilled to see the monthly grid (all months in front) then followed by full daily pages 8am-8pm (military time) for every day plus the pocket in back with an elastic closure - the paper is classic moleskin quality and also includes pages for dreaming, goal setting and more. It’s actually so much more than I expected from the description. Hard cover and great size to put in my purse or bag. The type font is light in color so you can make it look whatever you like without distractions. I’ll plan to do bullet-lists for tasks on right side of page near spine and keep brief notes at bottom and find a companion journal for reflections, notes and writing. OH and it’s SO hard to find a planner that’s dated! So many now are undated so this is nice that the entire year 2025 is reflected in these pages.
