I purchased this in November of '24, and we love it!! It is so easy to clean, and I love that it is stainless steel and quiet! I actually made an Amazon influencer video highlighting all the best things about it. Best part, it's so easy to put the lid right back on. You don't have to align anything or mess with any latches... it just pops on and locks into place easily every time! So, if you're thinking about this brand or this specific fountain bowl, get it! It's well worth it! Get two! The cats love it :) ATTN PETLIBRO All that is above is absolutely true. However, last week my fountain stopped working. I have tried to troubleshoot and clean it on my own, but nothing works. The pump just stopped. So... because the video has been doing so well and I would absolutely do another video for y'all if you wanted, could you please send me a new one? This was great at first… but now I am on the second of these in a year due to the motor burning out. I have more filters and the second ones motor just burnt out and I just cannot justify buying a third one when I could have spent all of this money on a more quality filtered water bowl. The metal also builds up gunk that I cannot get off with washing and I know it is not the water as I am using bottled water and not tap. I would not recommend unless it is for temporary use. I dont trust anything from this brand going forward.

Great water fountain for cats. The stainless steel is very durable. Cleaning it isvery easy. putting it back together. After cleaning it putting back together is no problem. The water fountain is off a little sounds like a little trickle from a stream and the cats love it. It’s not very loud at all. The capacity holds of water is good enough to last a few days depending on how many cats you have.

I bought this over some of their other water fountains because of the fact the entire container is metal. Metal is easier to disinfect and keep clean for the most part. I've had this since I think mid July (2024) and have regularly cleaned and changed filters. We have more than one water fountain for our cats, plus two larger bowls for both cats and dogs. My fountain did not come with any filter replacements, outside of the first use ones. Our cats really love this, and I've seen our larger dog drink out of this as well 😹 we have to change out the water about every other to every three days, versus every day for our other brand of fountain. This fountain is fairly quiet, even when it gets low on water. That's great for me, because I can't stand repetitive noises; but it's still noticable enough that it lets me know it is time to switch out the water. As for changing out the water, the top layer is incredibly difficult to get off. A really PIA truthfully. I feel like I'm going to break something when I try to get it off. There's only one place to pull at and it's the spout; and the top can get so secure/wedged in that it's nearly impossible to get off. I've been experimenting with not pushing it on all of the way, and that can help some, but in general it's a struggle. I really wish there was a lip or something that you can grab on to force it up on the edges. I noticed about a month ago that the plastic tube inside the fountain is severely discolored. There are some weird spots on it, and potentially tears(?) or other holes that maybe bacteria growth has taken advantage of. I've tried cleaning it, but the coloration does not go away. I do not like that it changed color like this in such a short time, especially with frequent cleanings and filter changes. This is a prime example for why I don't like plastic for these. Another issue to note is that if it ever comes unplugged, or the power is out at home, there is not much water on top at all. If you have other water sources, or even just one or two cats, and don't leave for extended periods of time (days) this will probably fine in most circumstances. I just wanted to note this, as we've had it come unplugged once or twice and the top area was nearly dry. We have extra water sources for our animals so it's not a concern for us. I just feel like it should be noted. So overall: + Love that it is almost all metal + Love the large water capacity + fairly easy to clean and change filters + quiet, even when it's low on water - the top area does not retain much water if it is unpowered - the horrible discoloration of one of the few plastic parts of the fountain I still would recommend it, and hopefully I just have a faulty piece for it to have become nasty looking like that. My cats (and dogs) like it, and I like that it doesn't have to be filled up near as often as our other fountain. EDIT: So I've lowered my review for this fountain. Shortly after writing this review, the spot that hold the filter broke. Really disappointed with this water fountain tbh.

Good product. No issue so far; Yet, my cats stopped used this product after one week. Not sure why even though I cleaned this every two weeks.

It did its thing very well while it lasted, but the pump stopped working after 6 months. Some cons I’d consider: - The lid is ridiculously hard to take off at times, doesn’t have a proper handle for you to release it when it needs cleaning. You basically have to grab the water spout and pull at the risk of breaking it. - Even though I used filtered water, the metal would stain after a few days of use and it’s tough to scrub those off without scratching the metal. - The cord is not easily removable for when you’re cleaning it so you run a risk of damaging the cable with water Pros: - Silent, you don’t even notice it’s there most of the time. - No leakage, you can move it from the kitchen back to it’s designated space with the lid on comfortably with no spills I’d recommend investing a little more in something more reliable and easy to use & maintain. I’d say it’s a great product for it’s price if only I didn’t have to invest in a new pump after only 6 months.

So far I am giving this fountain a 5 star review. It took kitty a bit to drink from it as he was way too fascinated with the flow of water and wanting to bite at the stream - dork. I have only had it a week or so but have not had to change the water out or add any. I do only have one cat, and I use bottled water as we are on a well and we don't drink our own water, too much iron. Anyway, as this fountain is a constant runner and there is no motion sensor, the water is continuously flowing and therefore being filtered better. I also like that you can alter the flow rate right at the spout - other fountains I have had with that feature must be adjusted at the pump inside the unit, this is way more convenient. I know that cleaning this one will be a bit more of a chore as the last few fountains I had were pumpless. Those fountains did not last and/or were not all stainless so they were slimy and had crannies you could not clean. I do also like the Petlibro brand. I am hoping they will come out with a pumpless, wireless, stainless steel fountain. I see on social media that a new start-up has a pumpless, wireless, stainless steel one, but I will wait until that design hits the main market and is priced more reasonably and available from various manufacturers.

Cats liked it. Pretty quiet! I have it in my bedroom. I don't notice it until it's getting low. Easy to clean. Cleaned weekly. Pump only lasted 6 months. Because pump was off, cats didn't have access to the water. (Not very long. Maybe a few hours before noticed.) Wish the pump cable disconnect was closer to the water fountain than the outlet. My outlet isn't as easy to reach but I get that it's a personal problem.

I was concerned my cat (Maine Coon, male) may be dehydrated as he never seemed to touch his bowl of water. The vet advised me that dehydration can lead to UTIs and bladder blockages in male cats, and suggested I try a water fountain as cats prefer flowing water. After doing some online research, it was clear Petlibro was a reputable brand. I selected the stainless steel option for aesthetics, durability and hygiene. After setting it up (which was really easy), my cat was initially suspicious of it, but after about a week, I noticed him taking his first drink from it. I now see him drinking from it daily, so he clearly likes it! It needs cleaning weekly to avoid bacteria growth, but this is pretty straightforward as it’s easy to disassemble and reassemble, and a tiny brush is included for cleaning inside the pump, spout, etc. Filters need replacing fortnightly, and replacements are reasonably priced. I’m very satisfied with this water fountain. It looks good and achieves its purpose of encouraging my cat to drink water!

Well it works we will wait and see how long it takes for the cat and dogs to get used to it. One issue is it came with an American style USB charger. Fortunately our plug where it is going has a USB socket

The fountain is great, but I don't understand why they ship it with a UK type usb-a plug ??? It is sold on a German amazon page and they see that my order is local. I have a USB plug of my own, so no problem, but for me the UK plug is immediately e-waste and that is not good.
