I need respectable sneakers to get me around town for some reasonable daily mileage. By this I mean about 2.5 hours term time and about four hours holiday time (guess my job?!). Nothing off road. I'm hoping they are reasonably water resistant. My previous pairs were not, though still much better than a standard trainer in the wet. That's with Gore-Tex too. These are very comfortable. I'd say fairly 'tru-fit' size wise. Build quality and visually they're great. The soles will fail first for me I suspect. When hiking sometimes my back would get sore and now with these shoes my back never gets sore. They last a long time. Stitching never ripped or anything, my last pair I had till my big toe came out the bottom lolI do quite a bit of hiking and fishing in these and love them. The soles wear well and offer plenty of grip,wet or dry.
