I’ve used this twice now on my long haired cat and it works so well!!! She struggles with mats and being overweight. This little clipper got right through the mats no problem!!!! It’s strong and quiet. It doesn’t bother her at all and she lets me shave her with no issues.

It’s lightweight, affordable, and in about 10 minutes, my kitty was feeling so much better. No cuts, very gentle, and it worked perfectly for his matted fur.It’s not the most powerful trimmer, but it gets the job done — even on tough mats. You just need a bit of patience. Overall, it’s definitely worth the money, and my elderly cat is much happier now. I’d recommend it if you’re dealing with matted hair, but if you need something more powerful, this might not be the best choice.

Small, compact clippers did the job! My long haired cat does not groom himself very well and hates to be brushed. Once a year, he needs to be shaved into a lion cut. Instead of paying almost $100 for the groomer to do it, I purchased this clipper. I was worried because of the mattes all over but this went straight through them. The noise level is so low that it didn't bother him. The clippers had to problem going through his fur and we were done in a matter of minutes. Definitely recommend this clipper for cats and especially if they have mattes.

These clippers are amazing! Used to shave mats from both our cat and dog’s fur, and had the easiest time with both. I ended up just grooming my dog entirely, because the clippers made it so easy. They’re quiet, powerful, and did not hurt the animals even when getting right next to the skin. The battery died just as I was finishing grooming my pup. These are a great buy!

Works better than others ones I've had. I use this the shave my long haired cat. You can put attachments on it but I don't because one the hair will get clumped in the attachment and two my cat has to be shaved pretty low. Easy to use, I've used it about 5 times and the sharpness is still good. The price was perfect for what I got.

It works. I have an older cat that has longer hair. I purchased this to shave him down to cut off mats. The clippers are small and quiet. I do wish they were a bit more powerful. They don’t cut the mats easily.
