Some were kind of hard but they did soften very easily I did switch up with the other current product that looks a lot like this one to see if there is any difference

No noticeable changes, about halfway through the bottle. FYI This is not a One a Day chew. I take 2 a day. About a 1/2 bottle left. Might try a different brand next time.
