These "Wax Guards" are inserts into your hearing aids to prevent your ear wax from getting inside the hearing aid. The red wax guard is usually used with the right ear hearing aid. There is a companion blue wax guard that is usually used with the left ear hearing aid. There is a tool that comes with these wax guards that removes the old one (currently in the hearing aid) and then inserts the new one
