Always check operation of breakaway switch it might save your life.

Defective
Product description says this product made by Bargman which is the brand originally used on my trailer. This was more expensive than the alternatives, but I wanted to buy the name brand since this is a safety device. However the part that was delivered was made in China by Cequent. Even worse, I cannot pull the pin out of the switch body with all my strength. I will return and buy a different brand.
