The Associated Press Stylebook: 2024-2026

I do some editing in retirement and my work must match AP's style. I prefer the paperback book; some people would rather have a PDF.

I bought this as part of a graduation gift for my granddaughter who will be going to college next year to study English and writing. It was invaluable to me when I was studying journalism and this version has all the updates from the edition I was using. Love it!

Was a lot smaller than I imagined but very helpful in various classes!

An educational read and a must-have reference.

While the AP Stylebook is bulky and decently light weight in a backpack. The information contained within is the standard for news and journalistic writing. The only down side is that this is soft cover book and it will only always be valid for two years max. Because its soft cover my copy of the book has a small bend in its cover. Furthermore, the corner of my book it upturned a little from being place in and out of my backpack.

Bought this style guide because my company bases our style guide on the Associated Press (AP) style guide.

The style guide has all ready set the standard for writing. It is a great guide to be used across offices and multiple locations. It allows for consistency. Good choice for reporting, and business. I'm using it to archive photos and make them searchable by anyone, same abrevations for cities, states and everything else in key words and meta data.
