L'Oréal Technique HiColor Reds Permanent Hair Color

I’ve used a lot of red hair dyes over the years, but nothing beats L’Oréal HiColor Reds! The color payoff is amazing, it’s bright, bold, and shows up beautifully even on dark hair without needing bleach. I always get compliments every time I use it. It’s easy to mix and apply, and the color lasts a long time without fading too quickly. I also love that it leaves my hair soft and shiny instead of dry or brittle like some other dyes do. This is my second time buying it, and it’s officially my go-to red! If you’re looking for a true, rich red that pops, this is the one.

I spent a long time looking for the perfect product to get red hair. I was afraid of using strong bleach and damaging my curl pattern so I opted for the L’Oreal hi color. I was not disappointed! I used 20 volume developer and my hair got to a good spot with minimal damage!

This stuff is legit I kinda wish I used a 20 developer vs a 30 but it came out good.

👌 I was impressed by the excellent service and quick shipping. 🚚 The color, however, turned out darker than I anticipated. 🌚 My hair now boasts a rich chestnut tone with subtle red hues. If you’re aiming for a more vibrant red (as was I) this shade might not be the best choice. ☹️💔

I love the color

I was soooo excited after watching YouTube on how to get bright vibrant colors without using bleach, so I bought the “intense red” bc I wanted to spice it up a little since I loc’d my 4C hair and was planing to dye the retwist it. I followed the directions but it only gave me a purplish tint like I just put a rinse on my hair. Not even one strand looked red. Some of my scalp felt like it was getting ready to burn a little and I had a PTSD moment with it feeling similar to how perm feels when you leave it in too long, so I rinsed it out thinking it processed long enough (and of course thinking I need to rinse this out before my hair falls out) I don’t know how people kept this stuff on for 40+ minutes bc when I rinsed washed my hair, it was literally smoking! And my hair felt so brittle I had to save it by deep conditioning and oils for it to not even color it. I’m not sure what chemicals are in this but sis just buy the box dye bc the SMELL of this stuff smells like something you shouldn’t even slather on your hair. It was so strong, it was burning my eyes and nose and had to open a window. But all of that just to have my hair tinted you wouldn’t know it’s “colored” unless in the sun. I know people say this is a “healthier” method than traditional box dye but it’s just bad if not worse(bc why was my scalp burning and hair smoking?) At least with the other box dye I know my hair would be the color it claims it’ll be. I’m not sure if I didn’t use enough developer or if the product I got was defective or what, but take a gamble if you want ladies.

Took about 8 months to arrive and that’s after sending a second package! Wouldn’t waste my time. Wasn’t even worth the wait. Made my hair dry and wasn’t as bright as I wanted it

I did not find this to be an intense red, to the contrary this dye made my hair a very dull dark red

Really !! ITS A LIE !! It’s written For dark hair ...but still you need to bleach your hair first then you apply the H11 dye ..it makes my hair more dark very disappointed thank you L’Oréal for scamming your customers 👎🏻
