SHAPERX Shapewear for Women – Honest Review (Size 2XL–3XL) I ordered the SHAPERX Shapewear in a size 2XL–3XL, and for reference, I am a UK size 20, 5ft 5 inches, and weigh 242lbs. Shapewear shopping can feel like a gamble at the best of times, especially when you want support without feeling like you’re being vacuum-sealed, so I went into this with cautious optimism. When I first took it out of the bag, I’ll be honest — I laughed. The garment looked tiny. Genuinely toddler-sized. My first thought was, “There is absolutely no way this is going over my hips.” As I started putting it on over my feet, that doubt only increased. The first 30 seconds were a struggle, especially getting it over my rather large derriere, and I was convinced I’d made a mistake. Then something surprising happened. Once it was past my hips, it slid on smoothly and comfortably, and I was genuinely shocked by how stretchy and forgiving the fabric was. The material is lightweight, soft, and breathable, not stiff or plasticky like some shapewear can be. Over my very large thighs, it felt supportive without cutting in. It sat comfortably on top of areas with fat and cellulite rather than digging into them, which is a massive plus. It smoothed the inner thigh area nicely and gave my lower body an overall firmer, more streamlined feel without discomfort. In terms of sculpting, I would confidently class this as medium support. It doesn’t perform miracles, and it doesn’t pretend to. It didn’t completely flatten my tummy, but it did make it feel slightly firmer and noticeably less jiggly, which is exactly what I want from everyday shapewear. I could still move, breathe, and sit comfortably — no constant adjusting or feeling like I needed to escape it halfway through the day. Around the back, it smoothed out my back rolls slightly, enough to improve how clothes sat without feeling restrictive. One of the biggest surprises for me was how it handled the bust area. I’m a 42E, and while this isn’t a bra replacement, it made my chest feel firmer, more lifted, and visibly smoother, which honestly made a big difference to how my body looked in clothing. Comfort is where this shapewear really shines. I could easily wear it for extended periods without feeling trapped or overheated. I genuinely believe that if the tummy control were any stronger, it would sacrifice that comfort — and personally, I’d rather have medium shaping with high comfort than aggressive shaping that I can’t wait to take off. The only real let-down for me was the pee hole. It’s there, but it’s not particularly well-sized or confidence-inspiring. I can’t see myself using it, as I’d be worried about messing up the suit or having an accident. I’ll be taking the shapewear down instead, which isn’t a deal-breaker but is worth mentioning. Overall, I would rate the SHAPERX Shapewear a solid 9/10. It’s comfortable, stretchy, supportive in the right ways, and genuinely flattering for a plus-size body. While the tummy control could be stronger, I think that would come at the cost of comfort — and for me, this strikes a really good balance. If you’re looking for comfortable, everyday shapewear that smooths, supports, and makes your body feel firmer without suffocating you, I would highly recommend this piece.

I’ve been eyeing these up for a while, but as I’ve been loosing weight wasn’t sure what size to get. I ordered a S/M and despite it looking like it could fit my sausage dog. I found the fit perfect (I’m a curvy 12) the fabric is very soft to touch and on my skin, didn’t make me feel too hot, which some shapewear can do. Sucked in the bits that needed holding in and the bust support was incredible, not squished. Very comfy and looked great whilst I was running around doing hair/make-up. I was concerned about the ‘flaps’ and that I’d catch a chill 😂 but they are really substantial and your modesty is completely covered. I didn’t try using the bathroom, only in it for a few hours, but I most certainly would wear this all day. I was very careful not to snag my nails in the fabric, and I’m already planning on ordering in more colours. I would advise you size down for the perfect hold to snatch your shape. It’s not the cheapest on the market but the cost is fine, as it’s a beautiful piece of shapewear that hopefully should last. It does say handwash, and I have a delicate’s/handwash cycle on my washing machine so I’ll update once I’ve washed and worn a couple of times.

Absolutely perfect! Its really thin and lightweight but packs the perfect silhouette hold, ideal for a chunky girl who loves hitting the gym! I wear it with a bra and it makes my boobs look amazing whilst keeping them in place. I've spent a lot of money on shapewear over the years from big brands and this one is by far the best. Perfect support, looks tiny but stretches and has a firm yet comfortable hold. Love it, just ordered another! Oh and the legs are smoothing and seamless so look great under leggings, too.

Really thin shoulder straps... the rest of it is comfy, supportive and not too much of a wrestle to get on. I did cut the crotch out a little more as it comes with a small opening but not worth the risk! Comfortable, warm, smoothing... don't expect miracles but I'm not uncomfortable at all. I just wish those shoulder straps were a bit wider as I can see them twisting and digging in as the day goes on.

This shapewear really surprised me. I am currently 80kg and 1.58cm tall- so wider than I am tall. My boobs are 36E UK and I have a soft hanging belly. Finding shapewear that is breathable yet does the job is HARD but this was on sale around Christmas time so tried it. I matched to a size Large but had to buy the small as this just fitted better and held the boobs up well. Straps are adjustable so as the day progresses and the material stretches, it is easily adjusted, which I haven't needed to do. I love not having to wear an underwire or another bra under this. It has great compression and really streamlines the body, but as with all the shapewear I've tried, didn't manage to smooth the hanging belly as much as I'd have liked. No lumps or bumps under clothes. LOVE IT! Great value for money, gives amazing support for large breasts and keeps it's shape almost all day. Just size down.

There’s much better shapewear out there , even from this brand to be honest. This one just doesn’t fit right because it rolls down. It seems to have been made for those with flat stomachs rather than bellies like mine haha. I’ve lost a lot of weight and had a c section so for my apron style belly, it’s not good. Also doesn’t last long - they rip real easily

I'm 5ft 8in, UK size 14-16 and a 38dd bust. I bought the XL and it was perfect. I've been wearing shapewear for many years, now many years older, I needed more support than what I was getting from the high street shapewear and didn't want to pay nearly £100 on one that might not have been much better. I watched some YouTube reviews and came across this. It's as good as they said. It's a strong but comfortable hold. The best shapewear I've ever had at an affordable price. It holds up my saggy boobs but I wouldn't wear anything tight fitting without a bra as they might slowly work their way south thought the day, you'd need a shapewear with a built in cup size for better support. Doesn't dig into my back fat either. I will be ordering more next month.

You dont have to pay big amounts to celebrity brands. this is the EXACT SAME material! Its so comfy! I dont feel anything, you feel comfortable. Its not like you cant breath. Good quality!! worth every penny. Dont hesitate & I really do recommend it!

One of th best. I love it, but you need to put sizes by height. I have 2 one fits perfect n yhe other is to long in the waist.

Kennt ihr diese Menschen die öfters nörgeln und das offen sagen? Und genauso ehrlich sind wenn etwas wirklich gut ist? So jemand bin ich. Ehrliche Bewertung. Nix gekauft nix geschönt oder weggelassen. Ich habe diesen Body gekauft: Nicht weil ich was shapen möchte sondern weil ich einfach einen leicht wärmenden FullBody unter schönen langen Kleidern tragen möchte. Ich bin 165 groß und wiege 55 kg. Normalerweise trage ich XS / S. Da ich aber dachte er kann ruhig etwas lockerer sitzen bestellte ich L/XL. Ich gehöre also zu den zierlichen Frauen! Bisschen Angst das der nun deutlich zu groß ist hatte ich schon, aber wollte dem eine Chance geben. Wärme geht vor Shape. Fazit: Die von mir bestellte Größe L / XL passt bei einer Person die sonst XS / S trägt absolut perfekt. Der sitzt fantastisch muss ich sagen, sehr bequem, leicht wärmend, nix rutscht oder das Bein rollt sich auf. Bin tatsächlich sehr zufrieden. Danke an den Textilingenieur der dieses Wunderwerk gebaut hat. Auch die Qualität ist sehr gut. Keine Fusseln. Das schöne ist auch - auch bei eng taillierten langen Kleidern mit größerem V-Ausschnitt sieht man nichts. Und ja das Teil shaped tatsächlich. Meine Figur unter dem Kleid wirkt noch etwas perfekter. Wer auf sowas Wert legt kann sich freuen :D Obwohl ich bezweifel das er größere Pölsterchen wirklich wegshaped. Dafür müsste ein Body glaube ich mehr Halt geben. Und er wärmt auch etwas - was mein persönliches Ziel war. Unten zwischen den Beinen gibts ne Öffnung. Fürs kleine Geschäft super. Fürs große eher eine Herausforderung. Außer man mag Nutella :D Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir. Aber berücksichtigen: Er fällt recht schmal aus meiner Meinung nach. Ich frage mich wie da jemand reinpassen will der z.B. 80-100 Kg wiegt. Also besser ne deutlich größere Nummer wählen.
