Strips dangerously inaccurate. Cal hypo is quality.
DO NOT buy with thoughts of using strips, see explanations below. Cal hypo sanitizes and dissolves easily, without excessive calcium build up, which is a plus. Basket socks I won't use, but work great for woodworking stain. The strips? I didn't receive them as advertised, I had to request them several times. I received them 3 weeks later and they are dangerously inaccurate. I knew what the levels were because I did a pool store analysis 2 days before. I repeated test strips 3x and same results. Strips indicated ph at 6.2, hardness almost zero, no chlorine, etc. I took sample in and my levels were safe with ph at 7.9, but had I acted on test strip results, I would have added excessive ph increase product and other dangerous products that could have harmed swimmers. I contacted company, showed them results, issued a warning not to sell them. They disagreed, so I did another test and took in sample with exact same results. I emailed results, waited 5 days and selling company has ghosted me. I wasn't asking for a discount, reimbursement or anything. I was warning them they should not advertise strips and contact 3rd party company that provides the strips.
