It isn't a very thick rug, which is what I wanted, but the quality and construction of the rug is very good. The colors are exactly as shown in the picture. The rug is really, really soft and very nice to walk on. The company sent a free matching rug along with the runner I ordered, which was a very nice touch. I have a super long hallway so it was nice to get this runner cut to the length that I needed. The runner is soft on the feet so that was a plus. The rubber backing is nice for our high traffic hallway (2 adults one child and 2 dogs) but the only down fall I have on this runner is that the backing does tend to slip some when our one dog runs up and down the hallway when he is playing.
