Is this inverter suitable for sensitive electronics?

This is a modified sine wave inverter, so it is not ideal for sensitive electronics like CPAP machines or some audio equipment or motor inside or microwave oven. For these devices, consider a pure sine wave inverter.

Why does the inverter not work properly when I plug in a 1000W appliance?

If you connect via the cigarette lighter, note that its maximum output power is limited to 150W. If the appliance exceeds 150W, the inverter must be connected to the battery using battery cables.. Otherwise, the device will not function properly.

Fan activates only at high heat with 450-600W load. Is this unit defective?

This inverter has a temperature-controlled fan that starts at 45°C.

Everything was working fine when I installed the inverter, but now it keeps shutting down on its own.

The inverter shuts down automatically mainly due to protection triggers: low battery voltage (15.5V), or connected devices exceeding its rated power.

My inverter only puts out 75 volts when running is there an adjustment or is the inverter bad?

The low 75V reading is incorrect. This is a modified sine wave inverter. Use a RMS/TRMS voltmeter to get true voltage.
