I absolutely love, love, looooove this bed frame...the headboard especially! It looks high end for such a reasonable price. It arrived about a week earlier than expected and came in 2 boxes. I brought the (fairly heavy) boxes in myself and drug them to my bedroom. The packaged containing the headboard was a bit damaged on both sides so I was worried the headboard would have tears, but to my surprise it did not! The headboard looked amazing just like the photo!The frame was pretty easy to put together (although only 3 of the various screw types were labelled), but I was able to figure everything out and assemble it myself. I was also worried some of the holes wouldn't line up like some of the furniture pieces I have purchased before, but all of the holes lined up perfectly!This bed is smooth, durable and very sturdy. It does not move or sqeak at all. I am a 300 lb. woman. Myself and my 2 children sleep, sit and lounge comfortably. The first couple of nights I did not use the slats and instead put my mattress and box spring in the frame. That worked fine, but my reason for purchasing the platform bed was not just the lovely headboard, but also so I would not have to use a boxspring. After screwing in the slats, I removed my box spring and using just my mattress adds the perfect height to still see and appreciate the craftsmanship of the headboard. It is a little shorter than advertised, but still look great!Aside from having to pay over $50 for shipping, the only flaws I noticed were a long string hanging from one of the buttons on the head board and 2 of the metal frames pieces were slightly bent, but it did not affect the assembly whatsoever. I was also slightly disappointed that the bed isn't as "bright white" as it looked in other pictures posted and is more of an off white, but it still looks beautiful! I took 2 pictures- one in natural light and one in dark so you all could see what the bed looks like in those two settings!I am highly pleased to receive such a lovely bed at this price and would definitely recommend and purchase this product again!

This is a beautiful bed. It arrived quickly and was not too hard to assemble. I'm a woman and I assembled it by myself in less than 2 hours. I love that it does not require a box spring. We bought a 10 inch memory foam mattress and it looks great and feels amazing to sleep on. I am getting ready to purchase another Home Life platform bed for my daughter! The only thing I should mention is the bed is not a stark white color, it's more of a softer, creamier white. You can see the difference between the white on the duvet and the color of the bed.

Let me be very clear..I love my bed frame. However, receiving it in the mail has been a nightmare. Customer service for Home Life sounds like it’s running out of the owners basement at a private home. It’s a very much a 5 man operating group which means customer service was so so but more importantly I was extremely dissatisfied with Amazon customer service for not taking ownership of my issue. It was very “this is all I can do for you ma’am here s the number, goodbye”. I was calling homelife originally because my headboard (so heavy to carry by yourself) was punchered in shipping so I took initiative to solve my own problem. So you want a review Amazon..tell your customer service representatives to truly care when a crying and frustrated customer calls because she is now subjected to sleep on the ground because of a defective bed ordered through your service. I bought this bed for my daughter's 16th birthday, it arrived on time and in perfect condition. My daughter loves the bed, it is very pretty, and the price was great.

Easy to assemble bright white not dull...matched my dresser and side table perfectly. Very happy.

Although the delivery date changed a few times it did arrive way earlier than expected. A few screws and other hardware pieces weren’t even included in the packaging so i had to go buy those separately. It would have taken very little time to assemble if I didn’t have to go to the store in the middle of it. Overall a super great bed, totally worth it. Looks amazing:)

very sturdy bed easy to put together love everything about it nothing to dislike PS be very careful about the bedpost will break your toe because I did LOL

So far holding up it isn't a bad frame at all decent feeling faux also. And seems somewhat sturdy to any other cheap ones
