Reviewing the product after 6 months of usage. I’m very impressed with the product. Simple plug and play DIY installation. Setting up the dashcam was straight forward. Touch screen is very responsive which makes setting the dashcam very easy. The build quality of the main dashcam unit and the secondary camera unit is good. Now talking about the performance of the unit, the bootup time of the dashcam is very short and quick which makes the unit to start recording within few seconds from the time it gets power. The main dashcam unit records a very good 4k video which is clear, crisp and sharp enough to identify the Registration plates of the vehicles right in front of you irrespective it to be in the day or night . The only down side I faced is the video recorded by the rear camera, which is not as crisp and sharp as the front main camera unit. Hence my score on the whole dashcam setup is 9/10.

I’m really impressed with the Redtiger F7N Elite. The video quality is excellent – true 4K front recording at 2160P @ 30fps and also 1440P @ 60fps if you want smoother footage. There’s even an option for 120fps @ 1080p, which is great for capturing fast-moving details, and the rear camera records at 1080p with solid clarity. Setup and operation were straightforward, and I like the added voice control feature which makes it easier and safer to use while driving. File transfers are fast too with 5GHz ultra-high speed WiFi. The rear cam is recommended to be mounted outside, but I installed mine inside and it still works and looks fine. Overall, great build quality, easy to use, and excellent performance for the price. Definitely recommend!

It's a very good quality, solid build camera that captures very high quality videos. The night photos might need better angle to read the number plates, although mostly you can easily read the plates. The GPS is accurate, speed of the WiFi is great for transferring videos and photos. One thing to note, The video download to the phone is irritating. You first need to connect to the camera wifi, then go to the app, select videos (you can select only 10 videos) at a time and then wait for the download to complete. If you connect your phone to the Car using carplay, it would be even more irritating since the phone would automatically connect to the car leaving the video download interrupted. If you can spend 10 seconds extra after every pitstop to download the videos, it's a great camera to have, purely for the video quality. Also, video image stabilization is great. The videos look great on phone.

Good front camera clarity, but night performance and pricing could be better I’ve been using the REDTIGER F7N Elite 4K HDR Dual Dash Cam since July 2025, and overall, it performs well, but there are a few areas where it could improve. The front camera quality at 4K is quite good, with clear and sharp daytime videos. However, the night video quality is just okay. it’s not clear enough to properly capture car number plates in low-light conditions though it's having Sony STARVIS 2 Sensor, which is an important feature for a dash cam. For the price, I expected a bit more. The product would have been better if it came with a larger memory card, considering the high bitrate recording at 4K. Also, the current price feels about ₹3,000 higher than what would be reasonable for the overall performance. It’s still a good dash cam with strong features, but there’s room for improvement especially in night clarity and value for money.

I spend a lot of time on busy roads and at junctions, so having 4K at the front and extra rear coverage makes me feel more prepared if anything awkward happens. I fitted this dash cam because I wanted clear front and rear recording. After using it for regular driving, I can say it gives a strong sense of security. The picture quality is one of the main things I like. It provides clear footage with good detail, which matters when I want to check plates, road signs, or what actually happened in traffic. I am also able to zoom in quite a lot and still see clearly. I drive in the evening quite a bit, and the night performance has a lot of appeal. Glare, poor lighting, and sudden changes in brightness can make cheap cameras struggle, but this one handles those conditions well. The WiFi transfer is another part I really like. Being able to move clips to my phone quickly saves messing around with the memory card every time I want to look at something. I also like having GPS built in, because route and speed data can be useful if I ever need to review a journey properly. The voice control is a good extra as well. Being able to lock a clip without taking my hands off the wheel is the kind of feature I truly appreciate in a stressful moment. I also prefer that the dash cam uses a supercapacitor, because I always feel better with gear that is made to cope with heat more reliably in a parked car. The unit does need a memory card, and the parking features require extra wiring. However, as a day to day dash cam setup, this is a good upgrade. I would be happy having it in my car.

Bought for my husband and he loves it. It took a bit for him to set up on his phone but once that was done he was able to use it without any issues. Great quality!

Pros: - the front camera of the dashcam is really H. D. As you can see on the screen shot from the video I got from the dashcam, you can really see their plates clearly. I also uploaded sample video of the front camera in 4k - as you can see in the video, it also has details of your location (longhitutde and latitude, GPS). It also includes the speed of your car and the Date and time. This is in both the front camera, video feed and the back camera video feed. - the red tiger app it's really good. It connects to the camera super quickly, especially with the five ghz option. Videos download very quickly to your phone. - they included set of stickers to put on your windshield and that is where you put your camera.Both the front came and the back camera. This is very useful in case I need to move it around.The windshield or any transfer to a different car. Itself also helps to attach chicken.Because i've had dash camps before.That would always fall when it's hot and so far.This dash cam has not fallen. - mic is really good because as you can hear, it records my voice well and even the music really well. It also added the audio to both the front camera, video files and the back camera video files. Cons: - even will not be able to use the dash cam while you're downloading the videos from the dash cam. So only do this in a safe area like you're parking a lot at home. Because you don't want to be in public and get into an accident. Your dashcom does not operating because you're downloading videos to your phone. - it will not recognise or display plates that have the "showroom" plate cover. This is illegal in Ontario anyway and anywhere in Canada. But some people still use it to get out of stuff. Not really the photo this scammer, but my recommendation is to shout out loud or say the plate number whenever you are behind a card with a dealership cover.So at least it's recorded.

I have used previous versions of Redtiger dash cams and had mixed feelings on them (the Bluetooth connection and app speed were poor) but this updated version is awesome! The video, still frame snap shots and audio recordings are quality perfection! The installation is easy, I was able to run the rear camera wiring to the front and also run the power wiring in my small SUV in about 30-45 mins. The plastic tool that comes with the kit worked well in helping me pull back the car trim to insert it - the wiring is invisible exept where it comes down into the top of the camera. Looking at my video, I have the camera aimed slightly too high and it’s picking up my Windsheild top tint and giving it a fisheye appearance — this is NOT the camera, it is my aim. For power, you will either use the cigarette lighter type plug or you have two other options: purchase a hardwire kit (those are out of my skill and patience range) or an OBD-II adapter, I wanted continuous recording (ask me about my neighbor kids damaging my car by hitting it with scooters) so I went the OBD route. The box, again, contains the tool needed to pull your inside car trim back to seamlessly hide the wiring. It comes with clips that you can use to secure the cables and manage the wires - I used a couple under the front of the roof area where the wires emerge to hook into the camera. The camera is a sleek black modern design, sized as you’d expect it to be - it hides nicely behind the rear view mirror and out of my range of sight, which is what you want as a driver. You can use a screen saver so that the screen turns black after a set increment of time - again, you want this so you’re not tempted to look at it while driving. The camera features lane departure warnings as well as front end collision warnings - those are customizable based on sensitivity or can be turned off. There’s also a start reminder if it detects the car In front of you pulling away. I turned off the lane departure warning for now but kept the front end collision warning and the start reminder - neither bother me, the sound or voice isn’t irritating at all. The app is so much more improved than previous versions! It’s always been easy to use but it was unpredictable and so, so slow - it was frustrating if you wanted to download. Now the app is working much more efficiently, I have no trouble securing the Bluetooth connection and the download speed is so fast - it took about 45 seconds to download a three minute clip. The price for the camera is reasonable and fair, it’s a good deal for the features the camera has. You will need to purchase your own memory card, I’d recommend at minimum 128gb. If you don’t want to use the cigarette lighter type plug in, you will also need to purchase additional hardware for that. I love this camera and enjoy the piece of mind it brings me to protect my investment and family. It’s easy to install, just review the instruction manual, check YouTube for instructional videos, take your time and the install will go smoothly for you.
