Very cool tool- sharp and easy-to-use. Used for watermelon slices for a outdoor grad party. Made the watermelon look nice and had lots of compliments on how cute the watermelon fries were.

I love this thing for cutting potatoes. I cut potatoes or sweet potatoes nearly every day and this is so much better than using a knife. It works as advertised, and makes wavy potato wedges and crinkle cut fries very well. It's super easy to clean with the dishes. Even though the edge is generally dull, and won't slice you if you brush up against it, if your finger is in the way, it'll definitely take a chunk. I know from experience. That's not a knock on the item, but this isn't necessarily a safer alternative to a knife.I'm knocking a star off for two reasons.1) It's a bit flimsy near the handle where the slots are cut. This isn't an issue if you're careful and cutting small or medium sized potatoes. If you get into some harder/very large potatoes you have to be careful to not fold it over.2) The waves are too small to cut waffle fries. It doesn't advertise that heavily, but it is there, and this just isn't the right tool for that job. They end up much too thin if you want to have holes in them like restaurant waffle fries.

Such an easy to use tool. Kids love the French fry veggies and fruit.

This gadget makes the best homemade fries ever. I have also used it to cut cucumbers and carrots. I like the way my home veggies and soups look using this cutter. It absolutely elevates what ever dish it is used to put together. It also works well in home canning.

Good for just crinkle cuts, but the waves are not pronounced enough to make waffle fries (mesh cut) like the description stated. I even watched multiple videos to make sure I wasn't doing it wrong, but the only way to get close to the waffle cut is to have it potato chip thin. It felt a little flimsier than I'd prefer for potatoes and denser produce. The blade cover is nice but it doesn't seem very necessary.
