I’ve been using this gel-cream moisturiser for a couple of weeks, and it works well for keeping my skin balanced throughout the day. 📦 First impression: The packaging is simple and hygienic with a pump dispenser, making it easy to control how much product you use. 🧴 Texture & performance: The texture is very lightweight—more like a gel than a cream—and it absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves a soft matte finish rather than a greasy layer, which is great if you have oily or combination skin. It contains ingredients like niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and three essential ceramides, which help maintain hydration while supporting the skin barrier. I noticed that my skin looked less shiny during the day, especially around the T-zone, although it’s not completely oil-free by the end of the day. 👍 Pros: • Lightweight, non-greasy gel texture • Helps reduce shine and control oil • Absorbs quickly and works well under makeup • Fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin • Contains ceramides for skin barrier support 👎 Cons: • Oil control is moderate, not all-day for very oily skin • Might not be hydrating enough for dry areas • Can feel slightly thin if you prefer richer creams 💡 Overall: A good everyday moisturiser for oily or combination skin. Love this moisturiser, i have naturally oily skin & this makes skin feel hydrated without being heavy or oily. Absorbs into skin really well, i only use two pumps for my whole face and neck so the bottle lasts a couple months

I really liked this moisturising gel. It feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and helped control the oiliness on my skin without making it feel dry. It worked well under makeup and left my skin feeling hydrated. My only downsides are the size and the packaging. The tube is quite small for the price, and once it starts running low, it's difficult to get the remaining product out because of the pump design. I think it would be much better if it also came in a tub version so none of the product goes to waste. Overall, it's an effective moisturiser, but the packaging could definitely be improved.

I honestly didn’t expect a moisturiser to make this much of a difference, but here we are. For years I struggled with constant breakouts and couldn’t figure out what was causing them. I’ve only been using it for 4 days, and my skin has already improved so much. No new breakouts, and the excessive oiliness I used to deal with has noticeably calmed down. It might sound dramatic, but this genuinely feels like my holy grail product. It’s lightweight, doesn’t clog my pores, and actually suits my skin type. The biggest game changer for me was understanding my skin better, and finding a product that works with it, not against it. If you’ve been struggling like I was, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try, especially if you have combination or oily skin.

I have combination skin and I really struggle to find moisturisers which don't make me look shiny but this worked for me first time. It hydrates and gives my skin a nice satin glow. I would definitely recommend.

A definite repurchase every summer. The lightweight gel texture feels amazing on my combination skin, keeping it hydrated without feeling greasy.

If you're wanting good oil control on warmer days , not great. I wouldn't buy again. Thought I'd try it though

I love using CeraVe Oil control moisturising gel cream because of its super lightweight formula. It is non-sticky and non greasy gel-cream that absorbs fast on skin leaving it soft and hydrated. It is enriched with nourishing ingredients, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides. It is perfect for my combination acne prone skin, and I love using it before my makeup to keep my skin hydrated and prepped up.

This moisturizer is perfect for oily skin! It is incredibly lightweight and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. It does an amazing job of controlling excess oil, keeping my skin fresh and shine-free all day. Highly recommend!
