These do not stretch well to fit an average size door. After I made it fit, my 2 year old son ran over and pushed it to slam it shut. This thing just compressed and the door slammed shut with it stuck between the door and the door frame!!! These are useless and dangerous since they provide a false sense of security, they DO NOT WORK and if you rely on these for safety someone is sure to get hurt.

I love these and they work perfectly for our application. When we had toddlers it was great so they didn't smash their hands in the doors but now we have cats and they tend to close the door and get stuck in our room all night crying. These are perfect!

These are awesome , no need for glue or anything.. just slide into the doors. they stay put. I bought one of these for each door... they are great.. if you need to close the door, take them off and hang them on the handle ... what a great product
