**Q: What is the material in the beaters?**
A: The beaters are typical ones that you would find in any kind of mixer - aluminum/chrome.

**Q: Is the slow actually slow?**
A: This is a VERY lite duty mixer. Even the highest speed does not do a very good job of mashing potatoes. I would definitely say slow is slow.

**Q: i need replacement beaters,do you know where i can get them?**
A: Probably from the Black and Decker website.  They may also be available at other retail outlets, but of course, not every kitchen gadget retailer would carry them. I recommend calling ahead. Happy Holidays!

**Q: does this have a snap on case or a full storage case?**
A: There is no snap on or full storage case for this hand mixer.  It only has the 2 mixer blades so there are 3 pieces in all.  But, it is a GREAT lightweight mixer.  Has done a wonderful job on all types of dough (cake, cookie, beating eggs, whip cream).  Easy to handle, lightweight, several speeds, beaters eject easily.  I am very pleased with the mixer and highly recommend it.
