It works great in a 50/50 combination with powdered sugar to kill ants. Great for baking too. The lid can be a challenge to open.

Lid is not perforated enough to open it.I had to do surgery on the lid to get it to come off

I am ole school with my laundry routine.Baking soda to freshen and clean.These are ideal for me. Have purchased before.Read reviews that lid was hard to open. I didn't find that to be so. Grip and pull.

This baking soda came in a huge tub and lasted us a long time. Perfect for detox baths!

I am only writing a review to stress the importance of taking other peoples review with a grain of salt (ironic, I know).First off, it’s baking soda! It looks and feels like baking soda-I’m sure it cleans like it too! I didn’t notice anything weird smell, any small plastic/foreign object, nothing!Back to the real reason why I am writing this review! For all the people saying that they have to jump through hoops to open this container, I believed you….until I got my package! There is a pull tab on the lid. Pull that tab, and it goes all the way around. Once that piece of plastic is removed, then you are able to open the lid itself! So, it was user error on those reviewers part, not the package itself. I didn’t take a photo because I’m sure when you open the package and inspect the lid, you will find the tab!
